@ Lilac: What you describe is what I was feeling a couple of weeks ago and then I developed a nasty chesty cold - there's a lot of colds and coughs about just now. I hope you're not about to develop one! When my late mum gave up smoking she had the worst chest congestion she'd ever had in her life! Her doc told her that it was one of the unfortunate side effects of giving up and should soon pass. She was prescribed a pretty wicked expectorant that worked wonders; apparently congestion is a result of not coughing!! It makes sense if you think about all the gunge that has collected in the lungs from years of smoking. (I'd rather not think about that!) Of course there are those who are allergic to PG (or so I've read) and anyone can develop allergies at any time so don't rule that one out either. If you're really worried, do see the doc. Fox

Oh yes, you've reminded me... When the mid-thirties guy who used to live beneath me gave up smoking I heard him coughing at night for weeks. Partly, it's to do with one's cilia becoming unclogged and starting to function again, sending baddies back up out of one's choobs So I've been told. scylla

Another often reported symptom of giving up/cutting down on smoking, is bleeding gums. It's caused by lots of little blood vessels starting to heal & come back to life

RY04 IMHO = Witches Brew .

I ordered a bottle of Marlboro flavour from OKSmokey today and just watched a chap blowing his brains out with another supplier's version - now I'm worried!! I can't seem to find a good smokey, rich tobacco flavour. Fox

I can't seem to find a good smokey, rich tobacco flavour. Me neither That's why I bought OKS's double flavour Old Holborn but it wasn't nice at all, IMO. Sometimes I get a hint of something good but can't repeat the mix and it wasn't strong enough anyway. The sweet undertaste on PG and VG juices doesn't help. As I said, I think that the PEG from Toby (ivapour-elixir) didn't seem to have so much sweetness but it only comes in small bottles. I mean to speak to him about it but he's struggling with his new site at the mo. scylla

I'd rather have a pipe type tobacco - has anyone here tried French Pipe? Perhaps that's what I'm after. Fox

I think that BeachBoy has vaped nothing else since he took up e-cigs nearly 18 months ago. I tried it in my early days when everything was much of a muchness... which many flavours still are today scylla
