That article in The Guardian got me onto the e-cigs.

What have the Daily Mail got in their heads ? It baffles me. They talk about being anti-porn, for example, then their website seems obsessed with 'side-boob', and 'up-skirt' shots'. It's a seriously odd newspaper.

As to their stance on e-cigs, as the article has been taken down it's difficult to judge, but based on their previous hypocrisy about anything I find it a very odd move. They must be in the pay of someone for some of the stuff they print.

I'm not, for one moment, suggesting The Guardian is much better, they are just the leftie equivalent of the Mail, but at least they do let facts prevail and that article above was very informative.

Please take this opportunity to strike me down with a large stick but maybe the Mail is attempting to report both sides of the story( albeit very, very poorly).

If the PCC could make them give a retraction the same space and prominence as the offending article
Then the DM would only have a front page on alternate days.

A Health article on January 27 said some experts believe electronic cigarettes can be more harmful than real ones. In fact we are not aware of any experts who hold this view compared to the risks of cancer, heart disease and lung damage from real cigarettes. We apologise for any contrary suggestion.

Quite a climb down. They wrote a story saying "some experts believe" and then admit there were no experts.
