See how you go with the clearomiser and the cartomisers and then you will need to stock up with whichever you prefer - cartomisers will last a few days, clearos a few weeks. There are quite a few variations of clearomiser type things, so if you want to go down that route - come back and ask, you will get plenty of opinions and recommendations

About 3ml of liquid a day, give or take, is what most people use so reckon on that as a starting point - you'll soon see how much you use.

When you do order some more stuff, well worth getting another battery. They can last for months or even years but can just suddenly pack up, so always good to have backups

Hi all, another new vaper here in what seems to be a common position....20-30 stinky roll ups, I tried SkyCigs trial pack over Xmas and it just didnt have enough "bang" to it but seemed enough to make me want to take the jump for a decent kit. I too went for the Riva1100 kit, 3 samples, and a CE5 spare tank to make the free postage

I would be interested to hear your views on the juice flavours.

#7261_9485# to you both I'm also new to vaping riva is an excellent kit. It's difficult to say on flavours as everyone has different tastes, some juices people say are great I don't like and vice versa. It's best to get samples on everything and see what you like and don't. I'm still trying loads it's all part of the fun with vaping I get mine from vape escape and paradise vape, both really reasonable and quick on postage

Well my order has been dispatched so I can't ask for better than that

The sample flavours I have ordered are : Gold & Silver, Virginia, Silky, HS Delight, Winson, HS Menthol, Cherry and Energy Cow. So I'll have some fun trying them out and let you know what I think.

I may have the wrong idea but as it comes with 5 cartomisers does that mean I can put a different flavour in each and use one when I fancy or does the liquid dry up or go off?

As mentioned, once you get into it & understand the bits & bobs, you may want to try re-buildables etc. Probably sounds a bit foreign at the moment, but I'm sure you'll start to understand it all soon. So you've started off with mostly tobacco flavours You might want to try some less obvious ones next time. When I started, I wouldn't have imagined that three weeks down the line my favourite juices would include custard, coconut and lemon meringue pie

You will love the Riva 1100, was my first purchase and still like it even though i now use a vamo, I do prefer using cartomisors with it though rather than the clearomisor as i had problems with the clearo

You can. In general liquids don't go off, either in a carto or in a bottle. But it is a great faff to wash out a carto, so you don't want one full of a strong flavour you don't like. Clearos on the other hand are usually easy to wash out. I'd sniff any new juice before you put it in a carto, and if you don't like the smell either put it in the clearo or put it aside for later.
