I may have the wrong idea but as it comes with 5 cartomisers does that mean I can put a different flavour in each and use one when I fancy or does the liquid dry up or go off? Hi Sooetie Welcome to the forum! The kit you've gone for seems to be the one that gets the most recommendations for here, so it must be a good 'un! You're idea about the flavours is spot on. I usually have a few clearomisers one the go, but the idea's exactly the same with cartomisers - you can carry a few around with you, each with a different flavour, and it makes switching really easy. It'll keep your taste buds interested! When you first stop smoking your taste buds are pretty knackered, so switching is good. If you find there's a flavour or two in your sample pack that you're not too keen on, either stick it in a cupboard and forget about it for a while (you're tastes will change as your taste buds come back to life) or try mixing it with another flavour. Thankfully I missed out the e-lites stage, thanks to a guy a work trying them and finding out they're not very good. I started with Totally Wicked, which is slightly better as it's a better product, but they're not very good value. I got one very basic kit for what you've spent on that Riva kit, and there's 2 batteries in yours. This forum's brilliant, such friendly people and there's always someone around to answer your questions. Ask anything, even if you think it's a bit daft - after over 2 1/5 months I've still got lots to ask about!

Hey again I WAS in Saturday so got my order, and have been having so much fun I've ordered a mini nova and a 30ml bottle of Chocolate Caramel. The 2 tobacco flavours I ordered with my kit were Virginia and USA Mix, both OK as a gentle reminder to the brain that we ARE smoking something The Choc Caramel is a winner at the moment though, has got a good throat hit and Im getting a roast hazelnut ( think Topic) aftertaste, quite nice really. Reading through the rest of the advice posts Sooetie, next addition to the kit for you (as it was for me) I would say is the Mini Nova, unless you prefer cartomisers to tanks. The tanks knock socks off the carto's in my opinion, and the nova seems the best option for upkeep (replacing heads etc AND you can get a metal tube for it for sturdyness), volume (2ml isnt the biggest but better than 1.6ml), customizing your experience when starting out (You get 1.8/2.4/2.8 heads all in the box). I also ordered a 10ml needle top bottle to make filling a little easier. 3 Days in, had a about 10 stinkies in total so far, I make that an 80% reduction in tar intake so I'm happy !! Mono

Ok before I start Vaping i'll show you what a twit I am
With the E-lites when I try to drag it's worse than a S Cut - almost fresh air
So if I put my finger over the hole I actually get something but it's a bit much and makes me cough
I think I have to get it right

Something I forgot to add thats REALLY important, Don't be scared or ashamed to have the odd stinkie. I've read a lot of advice over the last couple of days and its quite daunting, but this science bit of it needs to be understood to 'feed' the nicotine hunger.
Vape more regularly than you would smoke. The body can not absorb the nicotine from an e-juice anywhere near as fast as it can from a normal cigarette. So you need to keep yourself 'topped up' on nicotine, and hey presto no withdrawl hunger. If you get to have a sweet tasting aroma added in for just sheer pleasure, thats a bonus.
There wasn't too much clear advise on how to do the first charge of the batteries, so I followed normal best battery practise and charged 1 for about 8-10 hrs , then put the 2nd on to charge while using the 1st. Still using 1st battery , used about 5ml total of the 3 juices since.
It will ALL make sense once you have it there in front of you, ENJOY !!

I tried the SkyCig over Xmas/New Year, and the battery from that fits both the V3 Clearomiser in the kit and the CE5 ok. I'm not sure of the battery voltage, but it powered the tanks well enough for a taster during charging, and I was going to stick it in the glovebox of the car for dire battery emergencies Also, the atomiser carts fit the battery from the SkyCig too, I've managed to get soooo many toys to play with already and theres more on the way Mono

I am finally up and running Monday was a wipeout as I collected my kit from PO then went out for lunch. Then I ended up in the pub so never got it filled. I did try but couldn't get the juice out of the bottles so I gave up. Yesterday I managed to charge the batteries properly which didn't seem to take long and managed to fill a Carto with the Silky which I find to be quite smooth. Smoked a couple of stinkies before i got vaping and then only had one yesterday and one this morning since Big mistake - just put the white tip back in and puffed on that as thats what the e-lites are like - tip got very hot, nearly burnt my lip and then I realised what the drip tip was for :-[ Tip - I found that long-nosed pliers are excellent for gripping the little bottles and squeezing. Grip round the label as one bottle did skid out and fly up the kitchen lol So today I have filled a carto with Cherry which I really liked but may get a bit sweet if I used it too much. Another with Energy Cow which was def like one of the energy drinks but tinged a bit with the cherry (even though I had washed out the drip tip). I also put the HS menthol sensation in the clearo so I can puff on that as and when and find that quite refreshing. So I would say it is an excellent kit to start off with. I am actually thinking of buying another one so I can have lots of flavours on the go and won't run out of batteries. I think i'll need more drip tips and probably some clearos as I like to see whats in it.

You've only just started and already you're talking about getting more batteries, drip tips, clearos, juice... Yeah, that sounds familiar
