Haven't come across this before - someone who has managed to give up for some time, and who now is considering vaping. He had a few puffs on my gizmo last weekend, and got the full pleasure of throat hit/inhale/exhale - which is mainly what 'smoking' is about for us all - and then appreciated just what he had been 'missing'. Not really sure, however, as to whether it would be right to encourage him into vaping, given that he hasn't inhaled anything for two years. Quandry I have wondered this myself , as i have given up 3 times each for a year plus , and if vaping was around then , i would have taken that up and would of been great to do so , instead of going back to smoking , i wish there was a way to promote vaping to this section of people , but as you state its a Quandry to so ethically ?

What lovely comments, thank you all so much. I don't don't what else to say really, other than it's always a pleasure to help any and everyone out if it's at all possible . . . mind you, I think our lovely forum fosters a real community spirit.

Sorry I haven't been back again. I've had some real life disasters since posting here. My sis was due out soon but her husband has been in a terrible bike accident and will be in hospital for many months. Then I had my wallet stolen! Yes - in good ole virtually crime free Cyprus. And it had more money in it than ever before because the owners of my apartment are coming over to holiday and wanted the rent in cash for spends instead of me doing a BT. Duh. So I've had the nightmare of cancelling and trying to reorder just about everything including my EHIC card and all sorts with long public holidays here and then in the UK and trying to cram in as many hours extra work as I can to make up the shortfall (circa 1K)
The only two things I don't like about vaping with refilling is I hate getting it on my fingers! And even more hate if I get any liquid on my lips or tongue! Until I master the art of not being so messy - methinks I will be using more prefilled ones. And I do still smoke real fags too.
But I will keep you posted. My understudy arrives out here in 3wks time when she's finished her finals - she gave up smoking a couple of months ago (amazed me that she managed it whilst under such pressure - but opportunities to smoke for students are few and far between now with everywhere being smoke free zones). So I definitely don't want to be waving any real faggies about in front of her.
Saved me a small fortune when she stopped anyway coz I used to buy all her baccy here!
As for it becoming 'acceptable' - must say I don't feel any more comfy getting it out than I would lighting up a real one. I think until far more of the population UNDERSTAND that it is not smoke - it will be hard going as it 'looks like you are smoking'.
Should save me on petrol in the summer too - I used to drive with the aircon full on and my driver window half open to let the smoke out lol!
Gotta dash - get to the bank and buy myself a new wallet.

So sorry to hear about your brother-in-law Tang Hope he makes a full recovery. Also so sorry to hear you had your wallet stolen with so much money in it It sounds to me like you may be over filling the cartridges?

I'm also so sorry to hear of your bad news ((( Tang ))) and hope your brother in law makes a full recovery sooner rather than later. Have you tried using the drip tip? You may find it a little easier than judging how much juice to use when topping your carts up.

((((Tang))) I hope your BIL mends quickly and completely. I spit on thieving little scrotes > I've tried the drip tip for the first time today. Quite liking it apart from the roundness of the mouthpiece. I drop about 3 droplets direct from the bottle through the drip tip onto the atty and it vapes vair vair nicely for quite a little while.

Lol Perpy I prefer the shape of the whistle tips but I wouldn't be able to drop drips in thru' them. Drip tips nice for changing flavours every refill too.

I used to hate anything but whistle-tips (chunky ones) but now I've acclimatised myself to old round carts and new round drip-tips and the funny little rubbery ones on the clearos So broadminded these days Tang, what an awful time you're having. Thanks for taking the trouble to come and update us, we really appreciate it. Don't forget - don't fret over the baccy-cigs you DO smoke - celebrate the ones you DON'T scylla x
