That's my question because these are available in XL and the 3.0-3.2 ones which work with my GD-PT @ 5v don't seem to be available in XL.
Or are they? (Me not being the most observant vaper in the world ??? )

Not that I can see either Scylla, although wouldn't the 2.8-3.00 be ok for the GDPT?

Thanks for trying at least Perpy Nobody else cares about me cos I'm so far past my sell-by date now The 3.0-3.2 was supposed to be for 5v. The info was on Lisa's site (Cloud9) but it's down while she moves premises I'll hang on I'm in a very bad mood because: (1) one of the baby eagles is hogging all the food (2) I think the button on my third GD-PT is on the blink scylla

(((Scylla)))) I think I read somewhere that a standard 510 attie is about 2.8 ohms? & they seem to work sort of OK on the GDPT. So I would think the 2.8 - 3.0 clearos should be OK @ 5v? So wish Garry would make a new, better updated version of his PT.

I've been postponing posting about the PT for - it honestly must be - 3-4 months > I have to hold it (right-handed) with thumb operating the button facing my ear - say, eastwards - if the button is north, west or south it's totally dead ??? And now it's dodgy eastwards scylla

Hi Scylla, all clearomisers are best at 3.7v.I know by rights the 2.8-3ohm ones should be ok at 5v but they are not great.I tried with the exact clearomisers from Lisa and got a burnt taste at 5v I turned the voltage back down to 3.7v and all was fine. You can try but dont say i didnt warn you Im frustrated with these clearos as if i go any higher than 3.9 on the Provari i get the burnt taste.Boge cartos are fine so i stick to those for 4-5.7v vaping.Ive tried all the resistances of clearos and 3.7v works best every time.

That would be brilliant if they could do so Perpy Scylla, my first 901 GDPT passthru lasted for over a year & I'm sure if Josh hadn't sat on it when I had a heavy old style adapter attached to it, it would still be going. However, round about last November, I bought a new GDPT & within a couple of weeks it would only work if fiddled with the lead where it connected to the main body of the PT, then stopped working altogether. Eventually E-mailed Garry & he kindly sent me a new one but in the meantime I'd bought another - it stopped working full stop after a couple of weeks & didn't have the heart to email Garry again The one he sent me is still working though but seems to be killing atties at a rate of knots

Ian's right - on an eGo or Tornado at 3.3 volts, they're fine - and they're OK, if a little on the warm side, at 3.7 volts. Above that, they're a burn-fest looking for somewhere to happen.

The 3.0-3.2 are made in XL versions, Lisa had them in but not sure if they have sold out. These are good at 5 and 6v. Have a look at her site when it comes back online, if she's sold out, I'll swap you a box for a box of 2.6.

Ive tried all the resistances of clearos.Even the 3-3.2 ohm ones are not great above 3.7v,if you dont mind a burnt taste then give it a go.I would love some higher ohm ones for 5-6v vaping.I hope some get developed soon.

Agree about the Clearos over 3.7v. To be honest I can't be bothered with the hastle involved with them. Even the Map Tank (or Arrys) under performs when they get below half way. We are easily pleased in the vaping world, but if I bought any of them from a local shop, I would now be fully refunded. However, some people love modding them and have no problems with the faults. Me, I am a plug and play man
