Ian is our champion boiler, he's revived loads of cartos that way - whereas I'm a dismal failure - wouldn't you know? scylla

I boil my old cartos for my mini kit. Works a treat, although mine get boiled for a little longer, cooled, and then boiled again.

It does indeed work a treat with cartomisers. Some of mine are 6 months old and still going strong after countless boiling sessions Ive done it with tank attys also and they worked better than new after boiling.I use the same method as Bluecow for my cartos, works amazingly well and saves you a few quid to.

Done the clean on me 3 tank atties last night, been trying them out today. Hopeless. 2 of them were brand new, not even 3 days use. They were crap before the clean, and still crap after lol. So that's 5 tank atties I've 'experienced'.. A definite contender for the worst atties I've ever tried. Complete waste of money.

I had a go at boiling one tank atty at the end of it's life . . . lasted me best part of 3 months work usage, so I had my pennies worth from it . . . boiling didn't do anything, but I may have been a bit impatient and not let it dry out fully.
I can't believe you've had such wretched bad luck with Tanks Buck, I've just tried a Ego-T this week and love it, much better draw I'm finding than the TT.

Aye, just have to bite the bullet, shame as I so wanted them to be even half decent, but not to be. Binned them all now. Happy to do so, good riddance hehe.

Yet, I can't take to carto's and confess I'm not hugely enamored with the clearo's, other than in the Map Tank Buck . . . so I guess we're lucky to have so many options to suit us all. Mind you, we do share a common Silver Bullet lurve.

O dear. Perhaps I should have removed the batteries first??? Only joking of course - they wouldn't fit in the saucepan
