Hi all, Some of you may have seen my drawings in the competition thread, so some of you may know that I love to draw. It got me wondering what are your talents/hobbies/interests? I'd love to see pictures if you can or just tell me what you do apart from coming here and vaping.

Lee - have seen your work, and love it. As for my talents/skills........... ermm......ermm........ well, I am more craft than art, so dabble making things: sewing, cards, or as my mum says: 'titivation bits'! I also make a pretty mean squidgy chocolate cake.

Good thread Lee, These are three of my guitars. I used to play in bands. Nothing famous. I've converted our spare room into a kinda studio. Well, studio is stretching it a bit. Its just a room where all my guitars are. I put a worktop all along one wall and keep a little 4 track digital recorder on there with a lot of my effect pedals. At one end of room i have a pile of amplifiers of varying sizes. My two big amps can't really be played at home as they shake the house. But i've had them so long i can't let them go. I love playing. The one in the middle (mean green killing machine) is my fav. It plays like no other guitar i've ever played.

Nice stuff people. I play a bit of guitar too Del. I have a cheapy strat copy. Always wanted a nice telecaster or Les Paul, I see you have both. Love that Dalek Perpy! I did a bit of knitting when my first son was born. Just used to sit and knit rows, for no particular reason. Very theraputic. What's ACD limbo? What sort of books do you collect? And Hanow, show us our "bits"

Must agree with Lee re: Perps' Dalek.
Perps - My wife wants the rabbit. She aint got a pink one.
Limbo....ACD ? And who did you play footie for ?
Lee - They do make some excellent copies these days. I think you would do really well to get yourself an "Epiphone" Les Paul or SG. Even second hand ones are really really good VFM. They play well and make a good sound. If money were no object i'd say to get a Gibson.
Most of the bands i was in i was singer/Rythym guitarist so the Tele, with it's thinner but more cutting glassy sound was ideal. But the Gibson Firebrand (stopped making them in 1981) is so much better for lead. It has a much fatter, warmer sound. With excellent tight dynamics right through the volume range. I can see evryone yawning......lol.
Del Boy <---- is wondering if Lee could do a avatar for him .... Kneeling in front of his Big amp with green guitar in hands.

Well, I make ecig mods on a very small/modest scale. I can/have built and painted museum quality models from various films (mostly the Hellraiser series - hence the forum name). I have a large collection in my study. My real talent is my hobby of tactical stitching! I sew/make combat gear for soldiers, martial artists, airsofters and paintballers. www.pinhead-tactical.org.ukI'm lucky in that I can turn my hand to most things once I have an interest in them. I also teach Personal Safety and Control & Restraint amongst other things! Sean

I'd love to see some of your models if you have any pictures. Also you don't sound like the sort of person to mess with!

I wouldn't say that ''Control and Restraint'' was a hobby of mine exactly but I am trained in it, for work purposes only. Seeing as I work for the NHS, it has been re-named ''Care and Responsibility''.
Bizarre really because they both involve rolling around on the floor with people that want to do something that we don't want them to do!
Used to do lots of craft stuff, wood turning, furniture re-vamping, painting, turning junk into something attractive....
Have kind of lost my way with it lately. Must get back to it!
