Hi all, I thought i would share this, for over 15 years i have suffered with psoriasis, my psoriasis started when i got a bad infection of tonsillitis and has been with me since. I have had every cream possible from Dovanex too Diprosalic too all kinds of steroid creams and they have not got rid of my psoriasis but have just controlled it which is what they are meant to do. Having psoriasis has been haunting me for so many years, there is nothing worse than when you have a itch that you cannot itch because of getting a flare up of psoriasis I have had times when things have been so bad i have had to see mental health practitioners but i won't go into that as that is way to personnel. My Doctor has been telling me for years to stop smoking but never really listened to him. As you can see by my banner it has been 1 month and 11 days...now comes the good part. Week 1: Noticed my psoriasis was starting to look better but did not mention it as i have known my psoriasis to get better and come back 2 weeks later with a vengeance Week 2: Psoriasis to start looking so much better Week 3: Weak parts of psoriasis has now faded leaving strong parts of psoriasis looking better Week 4: Weak parts of psoriasis completely gone and strong parts of psoriasis getting weak Week 5: Strong parts of psoriasis now fading too almost nothing Week 6: Psoriasis all over my body has completely gone, not a glimmer anywhere I am keeping my fingers crossed everyday now that goes by as this would be the first time in 15 years i have mentally felt great, i even for the first time in 15 years used scented soap and have greatly reduced the steroid creams i have been using for all these years. It looks like i should of listened to the Doctor and gave up smoking. If it has helped me perhaps other smokers out there who suffer with psoriasis might try vaping to help them get of the stinky's aswell as reap the benefits i am having right now. I just really hope it stays like this and it is not a fluke Romelee

Really pleased for you Romlee, can i ask what PG/VG ratio you're mostly vaping? I only have very mild psoriasis, but vaping definitely makes it worse, I'm trying to work out though whether its the PG or VG or both

Great to hear. I posted a few months ago to ask if anyone had noticed their psoriasis improving after stopping smoking, as mine is loads better. I only had very occasional really nasty flare-ups, maybe once or twice a year, the rest of the time I just had a few small, but very stubborn patches on my back - they've almost all gone (still a couple of very small patches remain) and I'm well overdue a bad spell. Fingers crossed yours stays away too

Good for you, that's great & you must feel a lot more comfortable. As yet, it's made no difference for me.

Not psorisis but a strange thing that happened to me!
I had an accident 30 years ago and severely injured my left foot, i'm quite lucky it's still attached to me!
Anyway, due to the injury I must walk a bit funny on that foot and for years I've had to see an NHS podiatrist every 8 weeks to keep the huge vascular callous I have on the sole of my foot comfortable.
For the past 8 months or so there has been little for them to do! They seem to think that I'm filing and moisturising with expensive cream twice a day, I'm not!
I have no idea how this can be attributed to stopping smoking, but that is the only thing that has changed!
Perhaps coincidence, perhaps not ???

I used to be in agony with leg cramps, never indoors though. I used to blame flat sandals, low heeled shoes. Used Voltorol cream, tablets sprays, nothing worked. Now, it has almost disappeared, I can walk longer, further with no pain, I now put this down to vaping and not smoking as does my Dr.
