Just got a used one today - it's even better than the Lava Tube 1.5 and what makes it better is the ability to just set it at a chosen wattage and it just does it. It's releasing more vapour and flavour from a mix I had in a Vivi Nova than the LT was doing. Excellent bit of kit.

Bad reviews, really? I know there were issues with the spring a while ago, but easily rectified if the supplier hasn't already addressed the issue.Other than that i have seen nothing but good youtube reviews.

One unexpected bonus is the Vamo is much more accurate in voltage sensing than the LTs are. It accurately indicates 4.2V fully charged and drops out at 3.2V - I must admit I was getting a bit leary of it as it went down and was just about ready to pull the cell out when it locked on 'LO'. The LTs were cutting out at 3.6V, which I found a bit high. 3.2V is the absolute minimum I would personally take an 18650 LiCo cell to, in any case.

I love the Vammo, it's so agricultural, which to me gives it soul and character.
It looks like it's come straight out of Heath Robinsons workshop and should actualy be powered by coal or clockwork.
If my house was on fire and I only had time to grab one mod it would be the Vammo. Mainly because it's so big and heavy I could easily smash a window with it to flee the flames!

I had a LT and then less then a month later got my Vamo, it kicks ass off the LT, the Vamo is 100% better vape wise, I threw out the LT the same day I started with my Vamo. Since my first Vamo I have ordered 4 more, but keep selling them on to guys, to give them the same experience as me, time to order a few more now
