filling cartos

Morning all

couple of questions about cartos

1 - I have been looking online and it seems that the easiest way to initially fill an empty carto is the "condom method". I just want to confirm that you put the end of the carto that connects to the battery in first? and is there any other way that people use?

2 - If I fill up 2 or 3 cartos at once, will these be fine to use over a week or so, if I am rotating between diff flavours? (ie they aren't going to go "off" by sitting in a carto for a week?)

3 - Topping up - it looks like the easiest method is dripping down the side of the carto at an angle and rotating to make sure even? Again, is this the best way?

Yes

Should be ok, just put rubber ends back on to keep them fresh

Yes, Just make sure you avoid center tube

Hi, looks like your questions have been covered.

I just wanted to add that I don't get on with the codom method and so I put half a coctail stick down the centre tube and flood them from the top (it has to be a snug fit though).

Then just pour off the excess and away you go.

Don't forget to remove the stick after filling, hehe.

Q about the cocktail stick method - does the stick just fill the hole in the middle so you can just drop the liquid in and not have to worry about filling the hole?

I aint tried the cocktail stick method but if it was me i would just push it in just far enough to block the hole from getting any juice in as it is only the top part that needs to be blocked

I think when I buy my first kit I will try the condom method as that looks pretty straight forward

I guess it will all become a lot clearer when I have everything in front of me and through trial and error

I've got a Double Demo for you today! Two tips for refilling your cartomizers!

The first is the Cartomizer Condom Filling Method, the simplest, easiest filling method there is. Simply fill one of the cartomizer condoms (the rubber caps that come with the cartomizers) about half way with your liquid, then just push the cartomizer down into the condom. This forces the liquid up into the cartomizer, and that's all there is to it.

The second is the Taryn spin, which maximizes the amount of liquid you can fill your cartomizers with, no matter what filling method you are using. After filling your cartomizer, just place it battery end down in any kind of bag, a ziplock, a battery pouch, or even a Leaford Lanyard, and spin it. THe centrifigul force forces the liquid to the battery end, leaving room for more liquid!

Yeah thats about it, I do it as I am clumsy and my eyes aren't what they used to be.

I use half a cocktail stick because it's slimmer at one end so slips in nice.

You will probably want to try as many methods as you can, not everybody gets on with one way or another.

You will probably want to try as many methods as you can, not everybody gets on with one way or another.

you guys do no the coils are down ther wher your pushing cocktail sticks ??? dont push in to far
also personaly if you use the condom it pushes fluid up the middle tube into the cart then you blow it out after so why is ther concern about dripping down the center tube its the same tube  just the other end your forcing juice up just blow it out if you flood it lol personaly dump cartos in the bin for me

I have dissected several cartos and they did NOT have the coil in the air tube.

The coil was wrapped in a heat resistant material and located in the wadding.

Not sure if there are other types where the air is heated and not the liquid but it seems unlikely?

I believe the reason for not getting liquid down the air tube is to reduce risk of damage to battery terminals etc.

lol so wich end do you fill from and wich end do you block ? if you read the post we are talking about condom from the threads but eather way  fluid will enter the center tube  so i take it then after your fill you dont blow excess fluid out of the cart ?
