Got to work today and all was well, decided to give the Mini Nova a quick flush out with hot water this morning. Ever since then there's been very little vapour and flavour, stuck some more juice in it and that's it - dead as a door nail on my MVP and Twist backup. Head gone then I guess (was being a bit naughty last night but managed to coax it back into life.) Got loads of spares at home which does me no good at work :/ And I'm supposed to be going straight to my sister's tonight and not home. Thank God I've got my lill Gripper on me with a spare battery Never under estimate the importance of always carrying around a spare of everything (apart from a Nova head in my case) Still, Gripper will get a hammering today... be just my luck that the XL carto decides to pop it's clogs today as well And no I didn't bring a spare carto either... gulp.

Hard to bear kibbster
You've tried the usual things - post not screwed right down, post got pushed up at bottom?
Might still be rebuildable

It was on my MVP which has a solid battery connector so it's not that, that's reserved for the naughty Ego batteries It's entirely possible that I've unscrewed the post/ head slightly whilst unscrewing the cap. Why is it that this sort of stuff only happens after you only just filled your tank with your favourite juice that you are really low on lol I'll empty the tank and check the post/head. Thanks.

Lol I'm all sorts of "special" Took it apart to have a look and thought "where's the head!?" It was still in the plastic tank because I hadn't screwed it on the post properly lol :-D Head screwed on this time with more juice and it's back to firing on all cylinders again.
/sigh hehe ;-)

Lol glad it's working again People are always talking about backups, but one of my most useful 'spares' is a little plastic funnel that allows me to empty a tank of juice back into the bottle it came out of in this type of crisis.

Having said it's firing on all cylinders, it's not really. It's working but being quite slow to fire and not really getting up to temp, unfortuantly I don't have my lavatube on me to see what the resistance is.
I'll change the head tonight, but I would have expected it to last longer than two weeks. Oh well.

I think it also depends what juice you vape as to the length the head lasts, I tend to vape Baccy flavours and they tend to really gung up the coil.

Yeah been vaping all alchemists flavors like LMP, Egg custard and rhubarb crumble so I think they are quite thick. It's a 1.8 head as well so I guess it'd have a shorter life than the higher res heads.

I threw out two perfectly good Vivi Nova heads before I realised that I was unscrewing them a bit when taking the top off to fill, doh !

I have this problem all the time, it just seems to resolve itself. It's why I hate washing heads.

I did the same thing. Cleaned my Nova then after filling with juice screwed the top on and it worked fine. Unscrewed the top to add more juice and unscrewed the head at the same time. Took me a little while to figure it out. Easily done.

Took me a little while to figure it out. Easily done. Yep, done that. First time it happened I changed the head, thinking it was busted. Luckily I hadn't thrown it out, lobbing it into the growing collection of heads to be re-coiled, so when the penny dropped it was still there and not in the bin.
