I do also have the option of starting a PayPal dispute on this as we've 60 days from the 15th of April I believe to do this, although I'm sure we'd all prefer to try and resolve it amicably. I'll have to send all the LR901's back to China tracked to give PayPal a number, so hang onto everything please. Perpy PayPal SNAD would be 45 days from payment, not 60.

Thanks Clutter, I wasn't entirely sure on the PP dispute time frame . . . but that still gives us to the end of the month almost if we need to go down that route. I did pay by CC, but I've paid that bill now Raggy. Thanks Chris, I hadn't seen the holiday dates . . . . agreed Dee, Eastmall supply a lot of UK vendors with atomisers as well. They did have a problem 6 months or so ago with the LR510's which is why they bought their own factory to produce those themselves . . . . something has now gone awry with this latest lot of LR901's wherever they're from. Certainly I can't see us placing another group order with them as we'll be too wary of what we'd recieve and whilst I've been fully prepared for an instance such as this, I don't know that I'd want this situation again if it could be avoided . . . so another overseas supplier is looking likely for any future group orders we may want to do.

Why not see how they handle this problem before writing them off Perpy. Measure of a good supplier is how they handle problems and all that.

Agreed Clutter, I just haven't been overly impressed so far, even taking into account the language difference . . . but we'll see, give them chance to sort the issue out first.

perpy, it doesnt matter that you have paid the CC bill, ie: you could have ordered a settee that took 3 months too arrive but you had too pay upfront. or airline tickets for six months later. it just gives you more clout with paypal as they can be useless at times. although thay do seem to over protect the buyer now. raggy

Perps, when I returned the Riva I had bought from a Chinese seller, Paypal were very slow to update the log of activity. Having returned them, and provided tracking number, and waited.... and waited some more, in the end I phoned PP, and although I have no idea how they managed it (when I hadn't been able to), they confirmed that they had been delivered at that end, and within hours I was refunded. It did take some sitting on PP though. They never showed me what the other side were saying/arguing, although I found that out too when I spoke to PP. None of what had been going on was reported to me. Blummin hope that Eastmall will do the right thing without you having to return them, because you/we have to foot the bill for the return carriage charge. Paypal don't reimburse that.

On the positive side , if you do decide to change suppliers , theres quite a few to choose from with good pricing and much bigger variety of items to buy , i thought Eastmall are very limited in what they sold.

Agreed Mrl, infact I've one in mind, who also sell their items individually . . . we'll get this sorted first then have a group cogitate.

I've gone back to my old reliable atties, they're used and not as powerful as they were but I'm still getting a better vape off them than off the new ones.

Have just sent this to Selina, as I've not heard anything back yet, even allowing for the holiday dates . . . .
Dear Selina,
We're having a lot of problems with this particular batch of LR901's, they're most disappointingly not of the same quality or design as on the previous orders that we've had from you.
The design change has meant that many members are completely unable to use them on their 901 devices as the atomiser centre post does not now make contact with the battery connection.
For members who are able to use them, they're either dying completely after a days use or the performance is tailing off so dramatically after a day that they're unusable.
After discussion on our forum, we'd like to request that our defective LR901's are either replaced with ones to the previous high standard that we've had from Eastmall in the past or I have a credit to my PayPal account so as I can re-imburse individual people for their financial loss.
I look forward to receiving a solution from Eastmall on this issue.
Kind Regards
Mandy

Mandy to President ! On a more serious note, unfortunately I haven't received my order yet 0o I'm also waiting on one from James (dispatched the same day) and it didn't arrive too... I suppose so many bank holidays have had their influence 0o it's been a crazy week for portuguese folks who ordered last week from the UK ! :s But, if backup is needed you can count on me too Perpy I do have faith that this will turn out ok, and hopefully EM will recognize their error! It will be a big blow to my faith in suppliers if they don't because I have dealt with noth but,at the very least, good customer service so far! Thank you very much once again Perpy

It has crossed my mind that they're waiting to see if there's other complaints first before deciding what to do?
