Hi - just registered and have been reading various beginners threads for the last week. I'm getting to grips with the terms but am a bit lost as to where to start. I'm 43 and have been smoking since I was 14. I smoke about 100 a week. I gave up once for a year with the help of patches but that was 6 years ago now. I want to give up the analogues (new term ) for various reasons - health/cost/smell/anti-social. BUT I like and enjoy smoking, so I thought I'd give ecigs a go. I've bought a nicolite disposable and so far have replaced a few analogues a day - 1st one in the morning, 1 after dinner and a mid evening one. I don't smoke during the day at work and have been working the last 3 days so they tend to be my lighter smoking days. No work tomorrow so remains to be seen how many I replace. The nicolite takes away the craving but I'm a bit dissatisfied with the taste and amount of vapour. A long draw seems to give about half the vapour of a normal draw on an analogue. What do I buy? On threads one person recommends one thing, someone else another and someone else another and I'm getting lost. I mostly smoke at home so I don't think battery life is too much of an issue. I'd like something that's easy to use, is not too big and gives me that inhale/exhale experience that I enjoy from the analogues. I don't want to spend fortunes until I know it works for me - which seems a bit daft to say seeing as I spend £38 per week on analogues! Hi and welcome nbee84, im a nube aswell and i have just started the ecig craze i got myself this www.apolloecigs.co.uk/product-p/akego.htm. dont forget to buy the e liquid. if you decide you may purchase this after you have added everything to your basket enter code ECR69 this will give you 25% off aswell. using mine for the first time today and its brill

Just came across this Nbee: Clicky me! (I don't know how to embed but if any admins would like to do it It'd be greatly appreciated). I wasn't sure which delivery method to use myself, but it's very informative and might help you decide which is best for you too Also explains how each type works and how to fill them briefly too which is always good. Plus not forgetting pro's and con's of each type

I'd got my new Riva and was walking around vaping away like some '60's hippy chick and I was high on it and repeating the words 'cartomisers' and 'clearos' to anyone and everyone!!!

I'm particularly encouraged by the amount of posts I come across where other vapers have got there 1st kit and haven't thought about having another analogue since. I hope the same happens for me.

All the best, any questions, worries or stresses feel free to unload on us This place has kept me on the straight and narrow on a number of occasions and when I strayed at the beginning made me realsie I wasn't bad and stopped me beating myself up over dual fueling for a while This is my second family
