Yes, i will see if theres any info for me in the morning. I really don't want to not pay the man for the phone as i got a good deal on it and the ebay girl said he isn't linked to the problem. I did ask her why this idiot is still allowed to sell on ebay considering his appalling feeback. She said that will also be looked at.

The plot thickens this morning. Just woken up to an email from the dodgy seller. Turns out to be a woman called Mavis. She denies all knowledge and says she has not received any bid from me.
Really starting to scratch my head now. ???

I would not touch ebay with a barge pole.

Try GUMTREE for finding a phone local to you. So for me I would search on google for "Gumtree Southampton", then simply look for mobile phone catagorys.

DONT pay into ebay!! (As you can tell I HATE ebay )

Dolly, go into your "my ebay" & you can check on there what you have bid on & actually won. It sounds to me that the email you got saying you had won the item was a phishing email & most probably didn't come from eBay.

I have used ebay for years and years and have had the odd issue but it is a tiny percentage compared to the great transactions I've had, both as a buyer and seller. I have bought and sold in the UK and worldwide. It is always my first port of call for a bargain and will continue to be.

I've used it for years too, had one or two problems with dodgy sellers but never with eBay itself. It's brilliant for crafty stuff - I must have got half my wedding off there last year

Phew, pleased the panic is over, you managed to contact Ebay & it's being sorted. Hope you finally got some sleep too.

Did the kit actually show up in on your ebay account & is that connected to a PP account, as it would show there too, wouldn't it?
