Mixing Woes help needed

Ive just made up 10ml of Menthol using

Liquid Crystal 54mg VG Nic Base 4.44ml
VG 85% and 15 % water mix 3.56ml (Bought from LT ECIGS )
Menthol Flavoring 2.00ml

It has turned to what i can only describe as a wall paper paste like substance, what the hell has gone wrong ?

I also made exact same but with Rum Flavoring and this is ok

Any ideas ?

My first menthol I made with just methol flavouring, and it was vile. In my experience, you need to make a mix of both mint and menthol for it to taste right. I use 15% F'art peppermint, 5% menthol and a few drops of Koolada for a nice, refreshing Polo mint kinda vape

Did you make your own menthol flavour? if so sounds like the menthol hasn't dissolved properly. Try putting the mix in a cup of hot water (not boiling) for a couple of minutes then give it a good shake & see if that makes any difference . . . other then that I have no other ideas, sorry

That I don't know...your percentages look fine to me. Can only assume the menthol you used is weird - dead helpful, that, eh?

Try using the menthol in smaller quantities and see what happens. Maybe on a no-nic base to be on the safe side.

No Menthol was bought from a Vendor

I made some up a few days ago with PG nic base and the same Menthol flavoring and that was ok, im totally baffled.
Thats One Clearo knackered and a 10ml bottle of menthol down the drain, it was cheaper to smoke

Hi BA do you think it could be because you are using all VG and it is too thick ??? perhaps try diluting the VG down more than you have done

Beat me to it never used Paul's nic base, & it doesn't say if the VG base is already thinned, so adding a little extra water would be my second guess, failing that try contacting Paul (postmodern) & see if he has any suggestions

Try putting 8ml of VG and 2ml of distilled water in a 10ml bottle and give it a good shake. See if its not as thick. If it is add some more water and remember the percentages for future mixing.

My VG/PG is in 500ml bottles so i usually put it into Smaller bottles usually 30ml so i can get easier acess with the syringes etc.

2.0ml flavour
3.6ml VG/water (but use the one that you made in the 10ml bottle)

VG came supplied as 85% VG/ 15 % Water mix which came from LT Ecigs.

Like i said i made some up with rum flavoring, same measures and everything is spot on. It seems as though the Menthol has reacted to the VG Base nic for some reason.

LT should really be selling that VG as AG, so those who don't read the blurb would realise that it's not neat VG.
