Bomber, there's no need to deprive us all of your company on here. It probably sounds sad, but I also keep a simple spreadsheet with all purchases and what I would have spent on fags, similar to our banners but the banners don't take into account what I've spent on vaping. So I've got a net figure which I set to a monster font that hits me between the eyes. I've only got my original eGo kit, plus a couple of Spinners, but a lot juice (most of which I don't use). Only last night I trawled around looking for the best prices on a Vamo, batteries, charger etc because everyone is raving about it and I thought I must be missing out. Came to a figure and put that in the spreadsheet as if I'd already ordered, and watched that net figure drop dramatically... it was enough to put me off and sleep on it. Today, and being sober again, I realised I didn't need it, what I'd got was enough to satisfy me, for the time being at least. The other benefit is that as you see that net figure get bigger, it puts you off buying things you want rather than need. I've just got to do a similar one for my alcohol consumption but have been putting it off! After that ramble, I'll just repeat, there's no need to leave the forum, just visit the 'Lounge' for a laugh and stay away from the 'Reviews'.

I have always tried to keep my vaping spending to less than one half of what I would have been spending had I continued to smoke the amount that I was smoking and I can think of no reason that that would have changed in any way.
However, since getting the Zmax and 2 Spheroids and being so happy with these three units I have had no inklings to buy anything more other than the odd sample of juice to try out.
I still have all the eGo batteries, clearos and tanks that I have bought over the past 7 and a bit months and when these eventually fail they will not be replaced.
With a ProVari as a back up, I may treat myself to another VW mod next Christmas, but since getting the Zmax, thanks to the forum's co-op buy, nothing new has come on the market with the come and buy me sticker on it. And judging by the problems that many members seem to be having with the Vamo, anything that does appear in the future will have to be truly tried and tested before I would be tempted in that direction.
Now that we are heading for a long, hot, summer, my Shekels will be put away in my Sporran for more important things like Ice Creams, Lettered Rock and Kiss Me Quick Hats.

Been there a few times after a few glasses of vino and reading about these shiny bits and pieces, thinking i'm missing out somehow then the next day realise I've been vaping quite happily all evening whilst browsing the web and didn't actually need it.

Been there Bomber and despite the foul rumours that abound about my spending habits lol, I've eased back greatly as I don't have the spare cash I once did and in all honesty I'm quite content with what I have, which is enough to stock a small shop anyway. Where I feel I miss out is on trying new stuff so I can either advise or join in the general chatter about a product. But there does come a point when you ( we ) have to be sensible and take a step back . . . just enjoy the forum for what it is if you can, it would be a shame to not have your company on here.

how could i poss leave you all, im just going to have to learn to curb my spending abit Why don't you unbuy ( sell ) a few of the bits n bobs you won't use or have outgrown Bomber, then with any money raised you could have a little splurge on something new that takes your fancy without dipping into your bank account further. That way you won't feel like your depriving yourself of a treat or two. You must have a shed load of unsuitable eliquid.

Bomber I can only echo what others have already said. The beauty of this forum is it's social, community side. The downside is undoubtedly the temptation it puts in front of us addictive personalities. I have broken even many times and then been tempted by the next shiney or wonderful sounding juice. I do, however, believe a time comes for us all when we realise we have a few juices that satisfy us and a couple of decent devices to vape them on, a bit like the way the time came for all of us to stop smoking. I've gone from being a fair way in the hole to about £600 ahead now and if I can do it anyone can!
