Hi there. Been on another site and someone recommended I try this forum site. So here I am. I bought a cheap e cig about a month ago, but did not completely stop. After being given a tornado I am finding it gives me the hits that I want. Just now buying extras to completely come of cigarettes.

Hi Dell boy

Do not smoke at work but as we still have tobacco left in the house I just do it out of habit. I need to get myself another battery, usb charger and a couple of attys. So not too much to get started. What I am worried about is that I have seen other things I am tempted to get. But I am going to take it slowly.

It's a week today I found out about vaping an I was gonna stick with my mini health e till my birthday next month and ask my mrs to get me an upgrade
But I just couldn't wait any longer and bought a riva 510, I fought off the temptation for a full 5 days before I give in, I'm already lookin for other bits and pieces to buy, the way I see though is I would of only spent it on cigarettes

I have worked out that in the 34 days I have now been vaping I would have spent £187 on cigs. In that time I have spent £173 on e liquid and e cig kits.(I admit though that £75 of this was on my GG which was unnecessary but I wanted one Goddammit!) So that means I have actually saved about £14 so far. Also half of the e liquid I've bought is shared with the wife, so the actual amount I've saved personally is a little bit higher. As you say I would have only have spent this money on cigs anyway but by vaping I'm saving money, not inhaling all those chemicals AND I have some nice stuff to show for it.

Hi to Uki, and welcome. Lovely to meet new people in here.

Lee, I worked out that it took me about 4 months of vape-spending before I started to get ahead financially when comparing vape expenditure with what it would have been with analogues.

Also bear in mind that circa 80% of what we spent on cigs went to the Gov't in taxes, we had no equity left once a pack was smoked, the health issues greatly minimised, plus............ how much nicer are the flavours that we are now enjoying? Can't believe that I ever enjoyed the taste of tobacco - and for all those years as well!
