Hi Folks
It might sound a strange request, but I am looking for some flavourless E Liquid. Juice kitchen sells it for £2.99 for 10ml, which is reasonable, but I am interested in making my own.
I am fairly confident I know what I am doing (Even without having done it before) I watched lots of video's and it looks simple enough.
I have a ton of blunt syringes and used to using them (I am fountain pen nut, and use them all the time for this).
Would it just be the case of adding nic base PG and VG together? (obviously I would research the exact quantities, for the right 60/40/18mg mix)
Or would I be best to add some sweetener?
I am after something that can be vaped, with a decent amount of smoke, but leaves no discernible smell.
Also, all the bottles I have seen on video's etc, seem to be huge, can you buy smaller bottles? Ideally I would buy enough to make up say 5X30 ml bottles of it, and then it would be gone. So I can keep the mix bottles without having other bottles of chemicals lying around. and then when I am on my last bottle, I can always order more, and mix it up again.
Thanks in Advance Phildo

As an example, to make up 30ml of PG/VG 60/40 @ 18mg/ml mix you would require:
Nicotine base 54mg/ml in PG = 10ml VG = 12ml Extra PG = 8ml
So, 50ml of 54mg/ml nic base would be enough for 5 X 30ml bottles @18mg/ml.
Haven't tried an unflavoured mix myself, and I guess addition of sweetener, or not, is a matter of personal choice.

Thanks in Advance Phildo Unlike analouge cigs the smell from vaping disapears almost straight away and if you were using a menthol / minty flavour it would be no more obvious than the smell created when you are chewing gum or eating strong mints etc. I vape regular at work etc and find the only tell tale sign is the amount of vapour (smoke) the hovers above you, a few people have notice the vapour cloud but to be honest no one has ever commented on the smell. Tried no flavour juice by accident once and it tasted totally rank, if you want to stealth vape I would just use less VG to reduce the cloud Stu

Maybe it has been the brands I bought (Silky and RY4 from Vape Escape), but they stay around the face, and even on clothes. And I am not a fan of it. I would prefer it to be tastless.

Hi Phildo
When I was on the analouges it was either embassy regal or cafe creme cigars, I could not stand menthol type ciggies, but vaping is toatally different as you can get your full nicotine hit with any flavour at all.
It really surprised me when I discovered that the minty / menthol juices were the most tasty and satisfiying to my vaping taste and as a bonus there was no more smell than when I used to chew gum.
I have tried lots of fruity or coffee type ones that were ok and I could happily vape all day, but once I tried Extreme Ice from mount baker in the USA I was surpringly hooked, I was getting my nicotine hit and was left with a really fresh taste in my mouth, I stealth vape at work quite regular and no one has ever commented on the smell, I also use it in the car and like wise when you give someone a lift there is almost no tell tale smell, apart from a maybe a slight minty smell.
Even when I am in non smoking friends cars they have no issues with me having a few drags rather than standing outside like I would do with the stinkies.
If I was you I would try and find a discrete flavour I liked then you will have the best of both worlds, as no flavour juice tastes to me pretty rank.
You have to remember that vaping is all about replacing the hand to mouth habit and nicotine adiction, not the taste and smell, most people are happy that they no longer have that ashtray smell about them and their house

You would not be the only person vaping without flavouring. The taste and smell will be mostly the nicotine, and taste of nic varies with supplier. That doesn't matter much to those of us who drown the taste with flavourings, but it will probably matter to you. There is an extensive review of tastes and smells of nicotine from US suppliers here www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/298547-nicotine-comparisons.html

I have found so far that I seem to be a pretty light vaper. Vaping about 1ml a day, so I am questioning the need to make my own, as it is not going to take much to sustain my habit.
I ordered 2 10ml flavourless from Stew at Juice Kitchen, one with cooling effect and one without, to see how i get on.
But I can order 50ml from him for £12.50, which would last me almost 2 months, so there doesn't seem to be much saving in making my own.
I read a couple of good reviews of his, so I will report back.
