thanks mate, I'm well chuffed Popped into Boots and got some of the cheapie glycerine, £1.29 for 200ml. It looked really thick and gloopy in the bottle, so slapped it in with the already-mixed, gave it a good shake then popped it in the airing cupboard overnight. Another good shake this morning, filled up the CE5 and away we went right, shopping list time, I'mm gonna need lots more nic base and one of those half-litre PG bottles off ebay

Well done Jack the first batch is usually a little hit or miss thats why I try and stick to single flavour mixes and then mix these together to experiment, no loss of strength if you need to keep adding

Great news Jack . . . a couple of successful mixes under your belt and it really does give you the confidence to persevere and hopefully enjoy the whole mixing process. Looking forward to your world domination now!

I mixed 2 last weekend. Capella Caramel and Capella Expresso. tried them both midweek and they were truly awful. I nearly binned the whole DIY attempt.I added another 5% flavour (to make it 20%) and ordered some premade BUT vaping my Caramel right now and its...ok. It has a slight twang to it I cant put my finger on but Im fairly happy with the result. Steeping is a process best done when going away on holiday

Made up some RY3 and Caramel 10 days ago, only now beginning to show its true colours - vaping a Mini Nova of it for evaluation purposes only you understand! I can taste the Caramel now which I couldn't when it was first mixed, so will leave this for at least another 10 days. Andy

My confidence is growing too now that I've made a vapeable mix from scratch It's hugely exciting to have made a juice that you enjoy vaping, for a cost of pennies, and knowing exactly what you've put in it! I used to make a lot of homebrew wine, and it's the same principle. I'm keen (funds allowing) to try all the different flavourings available to see which ones I really like. Can anyone tell me the difference between F'Arts, DV and Capella in terms of strength? Is one make more cost-effective than another, for example? I have heard so much about the Capella concentrates, I really want to try these, but in an effort to reduce postage costs I really want to wait for Leisure Liquids to get their order in so I can order my nic base, PG and flavours all from the same vendor. Any help here would be appreciated Andy

Any help here would be appreciated Andy With some exceptions, I find Capella/TPA/F'arts to be quite weak for my tastes . . . so I generally aim for 20+% concentration on the dessert/candy type flavours I prefer Andy. I quite like some DV flavours as well, but don't find they're especially intense for me either. I've found that there's no hard and fast, it's more about what flavour from a specific House, suits your tastes over another one.
