I posted my brief thoughts on vaping and what it's done for me. I can't believe how ignorant some people are!

I smoked for 20 years and tried everything to give up, I was desperate to give up!

I tried ecigs as a last gasp try, I didn't expect them to work, but from the first time I tried one, I haven't smoked since.

So if you class keeping me off real cigarettes for 2 years as "EVIL", what with my health being leaps and bounds better than it was when I was smoking, my wife able to kiss me again and not being embarrassed about smoking to my children. Then you probably need your head testing!

An expert recently commented he thought that if every smoker in the UK switched to them, five million deaths would be saved. Yes, 5 million.

So are ecigs evil, or are the the people trying to demonise ecigs and effectively killing people by keeping them smoking evil?

i'll wait until i've had a chance to watch it tomorrow night, then probably bombard them with facts. i think i may be getting cynical in my "old" age, i just seem to think it will be presented in a negative light.

having said that i have had some great responses from people i have met when out and about, the great british public are not as naive as the broadcasters would like to depict. we will probably do better by just having a presence in the community and explaining the facts with every opportunity we get, just got to remember to rein myself in from getting too scientific, stop talking before their eyes glaze over:)

I don't really "do" FB (bloody hate it) but posted anyway as I suspect the TV show will be bias towards vapeing. As I am "between" jobs I will be watching tomorrow morning.

I've done all the posting I can over there to correct the sh#t peddled for truth on their FB wall in the comments.

It's been a weary and arduous task and probably lost on those who won't let facts get in the way of ignorance, but maybe just one will actually think about it or follow links provided and learn something.


At least The Wright Stuff won't be able to claim ignorance if we need to complain to OFCOM tomorrow, beacuse all the research they need is right there, shared by the wonderful and informed vaping community.

just trawled through FB responses, if the show gets as many positive comments as the FB page it may be portrayed in a fair and factual manner. i look forward to getting home from work and watching this
