Pages reverting to older ones

Very hard to explain in the title! Whenever I click on a board as in general vaping discussion, classifieds or what have you it briefly shows the latest threads and posts then, before my eyes, all the threads revert to threads from an hour or sometimes a day or two ago. It's really frustrating as I can see last post in a board was say 2 mins ago the when I go into the board it shows briefly then all the threads change to old ones! It's very hard to explain! But I hope you follow. It's driving me crackers!

That sounds odd! It's not doing that for me!

what browser are you using? I'm using Chrome

does it for me too press f5 and it sorts it
clear your cache or something ??

Been doing it for me for a couple of weeks on and off.
I go in to new topics and go through page one the click onto page two and I can see a post from 2 or 3 hours ago but when I click on to that post, it turns out to be from 3 days ago.

Doesn't do it all the time but has happened on several occasions.

It's never happened to me so really hard for me to look into. Could you please let me know what browser & version you are using? Plus, does Colli's advice help?

It's been happening to me quite a bit in the last couple of days. Usually when I go back a page, all the current posts disappear and shows post that are 24 hours old

I'm using safari on ipad.

At the moment, Proboards are pushing updates every couple of days in preparation to moving out of Beta V5 on 29th April. Some (OK many) of the pushes are causing browser & coding issues. Some of the issues I can fix myself, some I can't as they are beyond the scope of any admin fixes Just hope you will all bear with the glitches.

Couple of pushes on the refresh button seems to work for me so not a huge problem

That does make it sound like it is a browser issue?

Anyone having the same problem, have you tried going into "Private Browsing" ?  By doing so, it will confirm if it is a browser issue or not.

I've managed to get back into this post to comment by clicking my last post from my profile because ironically this post disappears whenever I go into this board and is replaced by the smileys one from a few days ago. I will try private browsing to see if it makes a difference but I think it's the board because it stops happening for a min or so if I log out then log back in. I've cleared my cash and cookies and everything else, I'm on safari on ipad mini, like I say I'll try private browsing and report back, if I can get back!

Just had a browse using chrome on the ipad and had no problems. I've now come back to safari and its doing it again. So I think you're right Chrissie.

I have had similar problems today and late yesterday, I am on Chrome. Never happened before. Quite a few times today I have tried to reply to a post with a quote, and the quote isn`t there. Also ended up on other threads when replying to someone, and I havent had a drop ......................yet

Right I don't seem to have any probs in private browsing I don't know what that means. The thing about the ipad Chef Lew is even if you have an app that says chrome for ipad or what have you it's actually just the clothes of the browser your seeing and everything is actually still going through safari. I know that doesn't make sense but you can't truly use a different browser on ipad or iPhone. It can look like you are but you aren't. I'm not even making sense to my self now!

Toondog, if you are not having the problems as a guest, or in private browsing, then it is due to your browser history/cache. In other words, your browser isn't seeing the updates & instead reading browsing history. So completely clear your history & cache.
