I'm I just picked up my new ego ce kit. Thought it was for my dad but then he'd got himself one, so its a treat (that I can't afford) for me then. But.... one of the batteries wont make a connection with the clearos. Its fully charged, it flashed blue and the charger turned green. I've turned it on 5 clicks. We popped a voltage meter on it to check it, all good there. I've tried pulling up the pin, nothing, guess I could try again but don't want to brake it. So I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas? The only thing I wonder is that it doesn't seem to have so much of the rubber around the central pin as the other in my kit or the two in my dad's kit. could that effect it? Thanks

Have you tried different clearos on it?
It could be that the clearo you are trying it with has accidently unscrewed at the top. This often happens.
If it is just the one clearo that is causing the problem, empty it, take off the plastic tube and the top bit (plasticy rubbery cap with the centre metal bit) to expose the bit with the wick and coil. Then make sure that is screwed down tight. Re-assemble and refill and try again.

Yeah send it back. You shouldn't have to do any work on something new. You wouldn't spend a few days trying to fix your new telly! Chris.

I have contacted the seller, waiting for a reply today. I was just hoping it was something simple. Also I got it from the classifieds so not so simple.

instead of trying to pull the post out on the battery, can't you pull the post on the clearo out a bit?

hey Vic sorry didn't realised you had posted on this tread before I asked you to look at it. Was just having a quick check for comunications while the kids were busy. You don't need to replace the battery, your not a vendor, and things like this do happen, even high branded stuff still give you a dud sometimes. I just wanted to know if you knew of this as something you had heard of so I had more info trying to fix it. I was also trying not to name you a the seller, cause I know its not your fault. Cheers for the offer though,
