Had to leave Mull at the Vet this morning to get knocked out and then get 10 x-rays on his legs to try to find out why he seem to have damaged 3 of them in one go. Here he is in happier times when he was doing his impression of Marlynn Munro.

Awwww bless him Lobey. What a cute boy. He reminds me of my little Honey, although her hair isn't so curly.
Hope you get good news.

He is a Bichon Frise.
I have two and his playmate has taken the huff because the other is away. He has "retired" to my bed and refuses to speak to us!

I thought he might be. A friend of mine has a Bichon Frise with short hair. At least the only time I saw her, she had short hair. The dog, that is. Though the friend has short hair too. But she lives in Germany, which is why I don't see her very often. The friend. And the dog.

It doesn't cast but it knots easily if you don't comb it. At dog shows they are all frized up and look like Powder Puffs. I prefer mine to look Bichony, without going overboard. Others would call it "scruffy" They can (and have been) taken into hospitals and old folks homes, because the hair is non-alergenic and therefore folks with hair allergies can pet them with no problems. This is the two of them together. Mull is on the left. I call them the Hounds of the Barkervilles.

My little Honey is 12 now and I love her to bits, but she leaves her hair all over the place. Especially now she is moulting for summer. When she finally goes to doggie heaven I swore i would only get a dog that doesn't shed it everywhere.
