Luv MMa xxx Thanks Magicma, but I think Mull would be even sicker at the thought that someone was calling him a Kitty!!!! He is a 7 year old Bichon Frise. Right enough sometimes when I watch him clean his paws when he has got them muddy, I wonder if there is a bit of cat in him!

This afternoon he "found" a new used for the cool wet grass of the back lawn. Lying there with back legs wide apart cooling his sore bits! Oh well, another excuse for me not to get the mower out for a while.

MMa I know the feeling. I seem to be in eat, sleep, drive to vet, wait at vet, drive home from vet, doze with half an eye on Mull, mode. Thankfully I have plenty of e-juice because I really don't think I could concentrate enough to mix anything. I am not a "morning person" and having to get Mull to the vet 20 miles away, at 9am each morning has fair thrown a spanner into lobey's daily routine!

A bit of a set back this evening when blood started appearing in his wee and he seems to have difficulty weeing.
He is due at the vet tomorrow first thing so I will wait and see what he says then.
Fortunately he has not drank a lot since he was out earlier so here is hoping that it is a case of not needing to go rather than can't go.

Hi Simon, He appeared to be weeing normally at the beginning of the walk this evening but you know what their like, even when there is nothing left to come out they will still cock the leg at anything the find interesting and this happened then. Just one drop of wee which was slightly tinged with blood. Like wringing out the last drop. So it could be nothing or it could be significant.
He has since had a huge drink of water, so I will wait a bit before taking him out before bed and see what happens then.

Hmmmm, not too sure other than it could be a stone in his urethra causing some irritation. How long until the results are back from the stones that were sent away?

Okay, he is in his bed now. He did have a wee last thing so I am feeling a bit more hopeful now.
Yes, I think there are possibly a few tiny stones still to come out and these will cause him some pain, but I am sure the vet got everything of consiquence out. The op did last over two hours.
The stones were sent to a Lab in Derby, but I wasn't told how long I would have to wait for the results. I did post them myself at the main PO so they should have them by now, but I don't see them working weekends!
Possibly late next week.
Well it is almost 2am and I have to be at the vet, 20 mile away at 9am, so it is beddy-baws for Lobey.
Should I take some hay to my bed?
To feed my nightmares!!!!

No blood in the latest wee then?
Fingers crossed the results come back pretty soon so you can sort his diet out or do whatever needs to be done.
