The cap I have is the one on the left and I can only use the AW IMR 18490 with that. I would need a cap twice that depth to fit an 18650 into the Provari. You must have a Provari Mini then Oh Damm. Does that mean I have to go and buy another one now? icon_shoppingm

I don't think the VapeEscape batteries are 'overpriced'. You have bought an expensive, top quality mod and the makers recommend AW batteries. VapeEscape's will be genuine AWs.

That being the point here, get them from ebay and they could be fakes. I'm afraid the saying "you get what you pay for" applies here. They will be safe, last a long time and wont break your Provari (In my opinion of course).

I thank you again for your advice guys.
I'm picking up the feeling that I should stop being typically Yorkshire and go to VE lol.
In fact, I'll drive there now. Only 20 minutes away.
Cheers.

I buy most of my hardwear from VE. Yes I probably pay a bit more for it, but from reading topics on here, my stuff seems to have a much longer life than others that have paid cheape prices and so, in the end, I am saving.

Just for info for anyone reading this later, CGR18650CH's can be nipple or flat top so don't assume they only come with flat tops.

Thanks ckc. To be honest, having experienced the joys of vary wattage with the Zmax and the Vamo, I will wait until Provari catches up with the rest o the world and bring out a VW PV.
Good as Provari are, if I am spending that kind of money, I expect something a bit more modern.

I inserted my thing with a nipple, it seemed to like it My provari is up and running. Cheers everyone. Mev I didn't know these CGR18650CH could have a nipple, that's where the confusion is then. D'oh. You live and learn.
