Possible Broken Provari?

Many thanks for the replies

I forgot to mention that I cleaned the positive pin with isopropyl and cotton bud this morning. I wanted to make sure I did what I could before posting. I also cleaned the thread on the bottom cap (which was really dirty) as that can cause a problem.

So wrong battery. Nuts!! Can anybody point me in the right direction for a decent/best battery?

You guys must be the most helpful on the web, and most definitely the quickest lol.

I have an order in with Fast Tech at the moment and they may update my order. Are any of these batteries any good?

The cap I have is the one on the left and I can only use the AW IMR 18490 with that.
I would need a cap twice that depth to fit an 18650 into the Provari.

apart from AW the only other batteries I'll use in my Provari are the Efest ones.

I'll be honest, I wont trust any other make except these, and these are the only ones Provari recommend. Mine are still going stron 8 months in with no fade:

Ah that's coz you have the Provari mini not the full size V2
