Check this out on AMZN: Panasonic NCR18650B 18650 UNPROTECTED 3.7V 3400 mAh / 2C High Capacity Rechargeable Battery. amazon.co.uk/dp/B00AIOH9VGThat`s the place I got my first ones, over six weeks, and they were meant to be in stock at the time. Maybe I was just unlucky. He didnt answer messages either. I think they took about a week, as even though they are listed as Amazon.co.uk, the supplier is a GMBH, so most likely in Germany.

Yup, Enerdan GMBH. ALWAYS check the supplier when buying through Amazon. They were cheaper than Torchy at the time.

It's good to use protected batteries in mechanical mods that have no electrical circuits in them. There is no need to use protected batteries in mods such as the Vamo, Provari, LavaTube etc, as these mods will not let you overdischarge the batteries. Infact, protected batteries can impede the working of vv and vw mods

There is no real standard canford, they are variable voltage and variable wattage. You dont need protected batteries and you can put the highest MAH battery in that you can afford, currently they are 3400mah and will last you over a day. You cant use a coil less than 1.2 ohms though, it is part of the protection

I thought a vamo uses 3-6 volts, so would you not need a 6volt battery.

No mate, the Vamos internal electronics boosts the voltage or cuts it depending on your settings

Sorry robby but would you suggest 2 x 18350's or 1 x 18650 in a Vamo. A the moment I would only be able to afford 1 of the options, is the performance the same with 2 of the 350's as the 650? Am I right vamos can be made smaller by using 1 x 350?
