The performance is better with 2 18350s, but you really dont need it. They work A1 with 18650s I rarely use anything else in mine. Another option is to get the kit from vaporbreak or Zainy, you get the batteries and charger really cheap if you do it that way matt1988The charger isnt fantastic, but the batteries are fine.

Yeh robby I think I posted that on the Zainy thread, £42 delivered. Ok I wasn't sure if it would be better or worse with the smaller batteries. I would also like to use the smaller option too I think. I wasn't sure how good those batteries/charger would be. But if you reckon they will be ok then I may as well go for that option. oh would I have to pay any additional UK duty on it? I'll see how much b'day cash I get

I dont even need to look at the batteries, Ultrafire are generally crap. They arent 1200, they have been tested and give under 900mah, but there arent a lot of options in the 18350 size. www.fasttech.com/products/1421/10001638/1319800I have that charger, you can put other types in it like nicad and nimhs. A better buy in my opinion

They look like some batteries I have. They were sold for a while as ScrewDriver batteries and came in the SD kits!

Have you got any 18650 batteries matt1988? I don't have any batteries yet, so I thought 2 x 350's are more versatile and you said you get better performance from them.

They come in a lot of kits Karma, but they do perform up to spec, dont look too exciting, but I would rather not have flames decorating my batteries lol

It was more to give you the versatility mate, with two 18350s you can use mini mode or full mode. But you must make sure both batteries are fully charged before you use them together matt1988

Indeed robby I've had no problems with them I think there have been a couple of scare stories on the net with them, but it was because they weren`t using them properly and there are a heck of a lot of them out there now. But nowhere near as many stories as on the "Any"fire ones lol
