Thankyou Perpetua I'm sure I'll have lot's of questions when the time comes but I'm going to do alot of reading and youtube'ing on this subject first before I even attempt it so I'll be aware of the main do's & don'ts.

I've always loved cooking and trying out different flavour combinations so mixing my own e-liquids is something I think I'll enjoy

Yes but the amount of PG used will vary. For instance the perique is a 10% reduction which means that for every 9ml of PG 1ml of Perique is added, In the case of say Virginia you use a 20% reduction so that for every 8ml of PG used you would need to add 1ml.

The reduction is in the PG

Does this quicken the steeping process if your flavours are already diffusing into PG?

No it doesn't but does make for a smoother tasting juice.

Hi grizwald56, I have to say because your Strawberry Ice Cream (10mg) is the only juice I vape! Nothing else I've tried touches it for smoothness of flavour, it's just my all-day vape

Yesterday's news has startled a lot of us and given many to think about how they would survive if this regulation does come into force, and on the back of that I have a question:
When you first posted this guide you said you might post more recipes, and the one I'm really interested in (obvs) is Strawberry Ice Cream! Do you think you might share this wonderful recipe with us?

I will continue to buy mine from Vape Escape until I no longer can, but I'd love the ability to try to replicate the flavour (if I ever have to) just for peace of mind!

What do you think?

It would be a foolish political move to damage vaping businesses with a complete ban. There are in the region on a million vapers in the UK and VAT revenue alone from this will be substantial. I expect taxes are in the post

Sadly we have seen foolish political moves made before.

I'm not being unduly negative, but let's not be complacent about this, as that would be making another foolish move!

Omg... I have just ordered a shed load of stuff from VE Jason to have a go at making some Banoffee Cream. It's one of only two juices that I still vape from when I started vaping at the start of the year.
When I placed the order I hadn't seen this thread (never thought about mixing my own til now.)
grizwald56 you are a legend. I have kinda plucking up courage to ask on the forums for some starting points for the Banoffee, without giving away too many trade secrets.
Lo and behold... Its all there in the first post and better still its looking like I have ordered all the right concentrates.

Lol. I haven't read the full thread yet. Is not not on here then?

Oddly enough, back in the day when I first ordered my beloved Banoffee, I also ordered Cocomel. I never took to it the same as the Banoffee.
Having said that I didn't read up on it and I gotta admit I had the misconception that the "Coco" part was coconut not cocoa. I'm still emotionally scarred to this day.
