I'm never sure what to post in these threads as sometimes that attitude really gets to me too. Mostly though, I don't really care!

I don't get into it with the critics now, I shrug my shoulders and say that I'm happy with my lifestyle decision to do something less harmful than smoking, then I smile

It is a big achievement though, so don't let anyone take that away from you

floop, well flippin done, i'm so darn proud of myself for not having a stinkie too for the past 4 weeks, i've been telling everyone and anyone that will listen and i've had the same sort of comments too mainly off family and friends, my old fella moaned at me last night he couldn't see the telly cos of all the smoke of mine, i couldn't think of a witty retort either so i just hummed the theme tune to psycho, that seemed to shut him up

My other half is warming to the idea. Although I know she wants me to start cutting down soon , but she did start with those comments especially in the first 2-3 weeks. She won't let me get any new gear though, so I guess I will have to make my current equipment last, I will treat myself to a Vamo next month, seen as then I would be over £100 in the black

However my work colleagues are totally opposite (including ex-smokers). They are delighted for me, I even picked up a kit for someone today who has seen how easy it has been for me, and also a couple are interested in it, although they are non-smokers (not to use them btw, just for info in them). And one wants to get their partner on them.

And most of all, most of them are almost stunned when I say the EU want to ban them.

According to both the fostering agency I work for and all the medical people that I come into contact with on a regular basis I am a none smoker. I can now officially foster parent and baby which I couldn't do even when the 17 year old i had in placement was smoking!

Well done floppy, ignore negativity if you are happy then carry on, I've been off stinkys since march and tbh feel better even tho the taste buds took a while to return the flavours you can get are amazing, a in my opinion as long as those stinky chemicals aren't in my system then I class myself as quit.

Carry on relax and vape it's the best thing I've done tbh.
