Just purchased this from Lakeland: www.lakeland.co.uk/21493/Ultrasonic-Jewellery-CleanerJust have some questions.... 1) It does 8 minute cycles, how many cycles do you think it takes to fully steep a bottle of juice, mainly sweet custard flavors? 2) The inner is 44mm high, how do you put bottles in there that are higher than 44mm high? My 10ml bottles just about fit standing up but anything higher like my 15ml are too tall, would it be ok to lay them on their side? Just worried about the water finding it's way into the bottle, or can i keep them upright and leave the lid open? 3) How the hell do you protect your labels on the bottles when they are immersed in water all that time? 4) Is it best to put a elastic band around the bottles to keep them bunched together? 5) Before you start doing the long cycles do you fill with warm water or just fill with cold? If warm how often do you re-fill with warm water in that cycle you was doing? 6) Once all juices are fully steeped by using the Ultrasonic Cleaner can you use the juices straight away or is there more prepping? Thinks that is all i can think of Your advise would be most welcome, itching to use it with all my mixes i have made

Hi Romelee
1.Depends on the juice. some flavours take longer than others. I do about 5/6 cycles for 3 days and still leave them in a dark cupboard at night for a week. 2.You just rest the lid at the highest point of bottle. It doesn't need to be close to work. 3.I don't label mine so can't help you on that point 4. That's a good idea but I just wedge them by using the watch bracket thingy. Make sure the tops and caps are on the bottle when steeping in the cleaner just in case they submerge in water. 5. I fill half and half. cold water first and then top it with a kettle. sure other people do it different. I never refill the water as it seems to stay warm in the time i am using the cleaner. Empty the water daily. 6. Depending on the juice, your mixers might need adjusting to suit your taste by adding more flavour to it. e.g tweaking as you go along, depends on yourself really. You will soon know by trying out your liquids if they need more time.
I have vape a mix after two days of steeping, it was ok but we know the longer the better.
Don't worry its easy, you will get the hang of it.

Sheesh can you not just leave it alone Any way back to the ultrasonic;- 1 Longest I run it for is probably a couple of hours, so maybe 15/20 cycles gives a distinct colour change but wouldn't say fully steeped I still tend to leave mine for a few days but then I'm working ahead of myself. 2 If my bottles are too tall I still close the lid & let it rest on the bottles but it is slightly ajar, don't think it makes any difference as long as the bottles are stable which is more down to the water level, don't over fill the cleaner so your bottles are trying to float. Don't know what bottles your using so can't say if they'd be fully watertight. 3 I don't put my labels on till they come out of cleaner, can tell which flavour is which by smell, or maybe you could put the labels right at the very top & only fill to that level. 4 No I just leave my bottles free standing they really don't move that much. 5 Use hand water 40 degrees or so & the cleaner will keep it warm, but I do check mine every few cycles to make sure it's not getting to hot, if it is just take a little out & replace with cold. 6 Not sure what you mine by this, if your juice is steeped it's steeped & good to go, but maybe you could experiment & take some that's had a good run in the cleaner split it try some straight away, & leave the rest for a couple of days to see if there's any further change. Hope this helps some, would be interested to know how long you run it for & what results you get just in case I ever need to do an emergency mix

Thanks stamina , 4madcatsGonna run 7 cycles @ 8mins (54mins total) leave for a hour and do the 7 cycles @ 8mins (54mins total) leave for another hour and do the 7 cylcles @ 8mins (54mins total) so a total of 162mins leave overnight and then repeat the above then hopefully vape Had to put rubber bands around the bottles as they was just floating due to how heavy they are, they are only 10ml plastic bottles filled with 5ml of juice. Thinking my dreams tonight are gonna be full of buzzing sounds, noisy little bleeder

Has anyone any experience of the colour of the liquid darkening or intensifying after a few blasts in the Ultrasonic? I wonder is that an indication of how the steeping is progressing

PVC 1 week mixed, 3 different nicotine strengths . . . . After 3 weeks of natural steeping . . . . Might give you something to compare to Rom for your Custard flavours.
