This morning I decided to iron by the kettle, set the ironing board up, plugged in the iron and at the same time boiled the kettle to have a cuppa when I am done, I got my jeans on the ironing board and without looking grab the boiling kettle thinking it was the iron. The jeans are soaking and are back in the dryer, the floor is flooded and I have no mop (had to use a towel) and all my other jeans are in the wash. Moral of the story. If you are a incompetent fool like me, never iron by a kettle.

I always thought that you were the brains on AAEC, but I haven't given up hope.
I hope they find your brain otherwise you might have to wear one of those id tags that's been reported on the news for people with alcheimers just in case you go wandering again.
Good luck on Friday mate, let us know how you get on as I don't think I am that far from getting a test done myself.

Oh dear, Stamina, hope you're dried out & clothed now. Good luck with the scan, Super-Shiny, hope it's for nowt serious, but they indeed prove that you have a brain.

The absolute best of luck with that and I hope they don't find anything out of the ordinary. My short term memory has been shot for a couple of years or so, it scares the life out of me at times when I too do things like go to put the kettle in the fridge and put milk in my coffee, walk back to fridge, put milk back in fridge, quickly do something else like wipe a surface down, then get milk back out of fridge to put milk in coffee then see I already did it Loads of things like that. Wife might tell me something, I DO listen, 10 minutes later I'll ask her something to do with what she already told me and she says I told you that 10 minute ago and then I do remember but I might ask a second time. Even typing out things on here quite often (I don't look at the screen as I type generally) once I've typed what I wanted to say I look up and there are whole words missing that I thought I had typed, it isn't my keyboard its me (had to add a few words into this paragraph too). It can be quite upsetting.
