...it's like greased lightning compared to the US Postal Service. I have some nicotine base on order from Nicvapes. The tracking info shows it entering a 'sorting facility' in South Carolina on May 1st. It finally emerged from said facility on 7th May and on May 8th moved to a sorting facility in.... Maimi, Florida

That last one is probably at the airport, US tracking stops there!!! My last order hit Miami and was with me 3 days later

About 10 days I generally find it takes to get an order from Nicvape . . . that tracking system is wildly inaccurately, so I don't bother looking Oneday.

You'll receive your order and it'll most probably show as still being in Maimi.

After visiting Carolina and Atlanta my parcel got to Miami on May 4th so could even be on this side of the ocean by now.

Does anyone know what the deal is with the customs folk getting their dirty paws on my shiny goods?

Am I going to get a red card type thing from Royal Mail saying I need to pay £ before they will deliver?

My order totalled $140 so how much could I get charged in import duties?

To be honest I wasn't expecting the delivery yet, it just seems daft that a parcel can spend nearly a week being 'sorted' and then just move a couple of States. I think you're right Perps - forget tracking and just expect it when it arrives

My last order from Nicvape was around that figure, but the amount Rich put on the shipping label, which also doubles as a customs label was $20.00. There were no prices quoted at all on the internal paper work, so no customs or handling charge

If your order isn't from Nicvape then it depends on what the seller declares, I've bought from Madvapes in US before, probably about $70 worth & that got through no probs but I never looked at the shipping label to see what they put on.

If you do get hit think the current charge is 20% of total cost including P&P & any handling charge by the carrier company this side of the pond.

I think they were going to declare $99 so hopefully I'm not going to get stung too badly.

Still I think I'll have done alright on the deal SVD,Natural, RSST & Octopus for just over £100 plus whatever I get charged

VaporTek I was just going to get the SVD with a free Natural (Which isn't highlighted very well it just has a little box down at the bottom of the SVD preorder page).... Then got carried away adding the others whilst I waited for the thing to come into stock
