I just noticed The Alchemists Cupboard stocks 72mg/ml Nic base, does anyone here use it? Is the liquid really that peach colour or is it the bottle?

The LF nic is that sort of colour, I imagine it's the nicotine since the 54mg is lighter

72mg is used for mixing your own and should NEVER be vaped as it is.

Thanks Jen & yes Mev, I wouldn't dream of vaping that strength going to try some proper mixing this month and I'm looking for nic base (already have VG and PG) I'd like to start off fairly easy by making a peppermint menthol that is totally clear/colourless. couple of questions: does all Nic base start out with a slight colour? and the higher the strength the more colour it has? will diluting it down to about 20 - 24 mg/ml make it colourless? anyone tried the 75mg/ml from NicVape, does that have a similar colour?

I vape at 10mg, so use less than for 20mg, but it's never made a discernible difference to the colour of my juices. If it's an issue, you could try the 'crystal' nics, I think Postmodern does them

All VG Nic has a slight amber / pink colour. The manufacturer stains it that colour so that it is identifiable from the PG Nic (I think).
There is most likely a procedure / best practice sheet or ACOP for it somewhere.
It will not dilute out, there will always be a tinge. It makes NO difference to the taste at all.

My Alchemists starter kit also arrived today and i've made my first juice as per Perps Vanilla Custard , though no sweetener yet as thats in the post. Could someone put my mind at rest and tell me i've done right using the 72mg base requiring an 18mg 50/50 10 ml mix i added 2.5ml Nic base, 2.5 PG, 2.5 VG and flavours for the rest ? Am i right in assuming that .again using the 72mg base if i'm looking for 18mg as a final outcome in any volume its always 25% of the mix

To get 50/50 you will need 5ml VG and no PG other than your base and flavours. What you've made is actually 75/25
