Ok Protank Arrived What Next?

Got my Protank but it seems a very airy draw, any suggestions?

It looks gorgeous very good quality item.

Block up an airhole on the thread, I'm told - candle wax or blu tack I think! Was going to give this a go myself just haven't got round to it yet

Yes, I dont know why they have put three holes there (on mine anyway). I blocked off two of them and it is much improved denis9t9. It also appears to improve the more you use it, it will probably be tighter after three or four days after blocking off the hole or holes

I will admit to being utterly depressed on the arrival and initial vape on my Protank. I figured I may as well have just gone and put a £18 bet on a horse, would have been more use.

However, I'm now enjoying mine. I tried glue and blue-tack etc. but in the end just put an evod replacement head in it. The evod head has a much thinner tube which brings it (almost) onto the planet of vape-ceptable.

I use mine a high watts on an eVic or Lavatube and it's great higher up the volts/watts range.

Did you change the shorter centre post on the Evod head with the longer protank one when you used the Evod head in it?

No, I just screwed in a replacement head out the blister pack (for evod) straight in the Protank base. I'd imagine the coil/wick section is the same on both.

Putting an Evod head in my ProTank didn't work for me - wouldn't fire up on any of my batts. I put it on my iTaste to check resistance and it just showed 0.00 ???

I put a new Evod head in one of my protanks and it performs so much better now. Much less air and seems to be a bit more of a warmer vape.

Ok robby blocked off 2 holes & it was a lot better thanks, but found it a bit to tight a draw so unblocked one & all is fine, never notice there were 3 holes in the first place.

What I don't like is the whistle. Anybody else get a whistle? Have a way of making it quiet?

Mine used to whistle, it was like the FLYING SCOTSMAN!!! lol it`s okay since I covered two holes up lol
