Anyone else not moved passed a Rivatornado 510 e-cig? I read loads of posts on here about different mods & accessories and just feel lost and confused lol. I will have been vaping about a year now & am still stuck with my old fav, oh & my lil GG of course. I guess I should say I did move up to the Tornado tanks

It gets more complicated/wonderful by the week Hissie!
I've a vaping friend, who despite my best endeavours is completely happy and satisfied with the Mega Tornado set up and the little batches of juice I make for them . . . . and is just not remotely interested in trying any of the new gizmo's.

Just use what you're happy with and while knowing what we experimenters are up to might seem interesting it is actually quite mundane.
Partly it's personality thing, I love playing with new things so I build and play with mods.
There is no right way to do this and just use what you think you want to use and not go with trends.
I will always keep a Riva XL hanging about as it is a reliable trusted bit of kit, one of the best - even the VTTV presenters acknowledge them as great and they all love their GGTS's.

I'm confused as well I have a 510 a Riva 510 and a JB from Sean, I really want to try something that looks good when out and about and with higher voltage but all the names and abbreviations have me scratching my head. Mind you its not just that it's the prices, I just cannot afford it. There must be a lot of vapers with older mods etc that could sell their stuff CHEAP! lol

Tornegorivas are not to be sniffed at! One of them that I'd had for months, just "sniffing" at it, came to my rescue the other day I didn't have an LR atty to use with it but I imagine it would be very good with one of those, it was quite reasonable with a standard atty. scylla

I suppose being an exclusive 5v vaper I'm lucky in that there is'nt much out there that caters for 5v vaping. Everything is geared at 3.7v, a level I do'nt get any satisfaction from.
Tried 6v and even destroyed an atty at 7.4v but always seem to come back to the magical number 5v.
I did think about a VV such as a Provari but then what would be the point if I only used it at 5v.
I'll stick with my Box 101 and save myself lots of money.

Quite a few mods have come and gone through my vaping journy but I have never been without a mega tornegova battery. I now have the ego-te which is 1300mah, that can get me through 5-6ml a day on one ego battery and its the only device I take out and about with me now. At home its still the good old GGTS and the UFS. But all my juice reviews are done with a ego-TE or big tornegova. I love em.
Regards Jez

I've still got several Riva / Tornado batteries, I always carry one with me as a spare just in case my Screw Driver starts to play up.

Thanks folks. You've made me feel a happy stick in the mud I have fancied trying the mega batts, but always been put off by the length. I like something I can just stick in my jeans pocket & regular batts fit that job just right. I'm with you on cost of stuff Tyne. That's always put me off as I haven't got enough money to go around as it is lol. My main vaping tool now is Tornado or Riva batts with Tornado tank. Maybe one day I'll branch out abit.

I am/was that happy with just Tornado's that I flogged my Silver Bullet. A Tornado with dual coil carto is/was perfect for me. Now i'm reading the dual coil cartos could be dangerous used on the Tornado's, as they only run at 3.4v...could blow the Mosfet or something... Gawd, looks like I need another mod for 3.7 doh
