riva 1100 battery life

floop , sooetie , I've had my 2 Riva batteries for 5 days longer than floop (1 month 23 days).

I started using 1 as it landed on the doormat, & fully charged the other. Then I started using the full one & fully charged the other.
I got almost 2 days from the full one, so now -

I change batteries about 5 or 6 PM, and put the used one on charge.
That way, come the morning, I know I have enough charge to last me all the next day plus a fully charged battery.
I also have a fully charged 900mah ego as a spare.
I find if I use a battery for more than a day the flavour drops off as the battery voltage drops off as it drains.

As Chrissie said, these batteries have no 'memory' so it is probably better to charge them before they are fully drained.

I dab a bit of vodka on a ear bud amd use that to clean the contacts. Wipe off with a tissue after to dry it off and away you go. I always have voddy in the house so no extra cost to me.

Ideally you should clean the contacts once a week floop.

I think average battery life is around 300 full charges, but they are like light bulbs - some go soon, some last forever. If it runs out quickly and recharges quickly it is probably dying - time to buy another.

The trouble with buying a spare spare for your spare spare is that by the time you get round to using it you'll be on a vamo or something instead.
