i liked the part at the end where the doctor ( female spokes person) say "using it is a replacement for smoking without the nasty smoke".... well isnt it the smoke part that is killing people and shes against it??

in my opinion the government will be against it due to revenue loss from x smokers and for medical professionals to be anti i think they need to rethink there views on smoking in general and then look at the benefits that vaping brings ( mind you if all smokers took up vaping think about the empty doctors surgeries )

I thought it was quite a decent sized piece, rather than the 60 second slot other channels seem to have given ecigs in the past. It wasn't sensationalized and Katherine put our view point over very well imo.

Interesting that there's zero evidence of young people then going on to smoke tobacco if they've tried an ecig. So that rather kicks some of the ' anti's ' objections in to touch

A reasonably balanced item, even if I didn't agree with all that was said.

Certainly worth a watch.

It would have been interesting to find out if the kids were using the "lookalikes" rather than rivas and mods(which i am pretty sure would be the case)Given that for less than a tenner they can get an "e cig" from Supermarkets,chemists,petrol stations and Mr Patels corner emporium.Personally i WOULD like to see Schools ban them,like they do "normal" cigarettes.There were good points and some glaring erroneous comments.i echo the Jody Marsh comments,but she did make a good case for them suprisingly.That said,there lies the issue i feel,so called Celeb using "E cigs" as a "Fashion/Status comment" which is bound to get kids thinking.I cant really see how by trying them vile lookalikes,kids would take up tobacco smoking or full time vaping.

Kids will of course try them as pointed out already, its "nature" taking its course. However, they are NOT FOR SALE TO UNDER 18's so SHOULD be banned in Schools, that's hardly rocket science and not worthy of a headline...except that was the point of the article.

I'm glad Kathy was included to add some balance to it. The Headmaster truly showed a complete lack of understanding, which sadly is common for the unenlightened.
