It is interesting to think though that if you had never actually smoked before, most e liquids would taste pretty disgusting compared to what they were called, and you would wonder what all the fuss was about. We are all addicted to nicotine, that`s why we do this and it is a viable alternative to smoking. I think we all con ourselves to a certain extent as to just how good e liquids taste.

Kids will of course try them as pointed out already, its "nature" taking its course. However, they are NOT FOR SALE TO UNDER 18's so SHOULD be banned in Schools, that's hardly rocket science and not worthy of a headline...except that was the point of the article. I'm glad Kathy was included to add some balance to it. The Headmaster truly showed a complete lack of understanding, which sadly is common for the unenlightened. They should have been banned in schools a long time ago - thats a no brainer.

I think you are conning yourself. Alot of eliquids can taste very good to non smokers. Especially when they are zero nicotine and lots of ecigs are being offered this way. E-shisha are a big problem to vapers, there seems to be a large following for them. It's going to cause us a huge problem in the near future and it does seem we are powerless to stop it.

That's what i thought, that E-Shisha would be a problem but why is the EU only after taking anything above a certain level off the shelves ? Is that all they think they can get away with ?
Edit:- Just read the ENVI update, ah well i guess they did go for all the nicotine then.

They still want it flavourless (or perhaps they mean tobacco).

I would be quite happy if they removed the flavours but kept the nicotine. Just means we could add our own flavours after purchasing it. Surely the party poopers must have realised this will happen and therefore render their actions futile. I have a mental vision of kids queuing up at supermarkets buying food flavourings. Just plain daft.

As the vast majority of the flavours we use are for culinary purposes anyway . . . perhaps home baking is next on the ban list.

Just goes to show how little thought they really put into their case. I wouldn't mind betting a lot of them don't even know how we produce our flavours.

I think they are just trying to create another barrier. Would have started vaping if you had to buy one thing, then another mix them together and wait 2 weeks until you can use it? Majority of vapers want something you can pick up, or order online and start using.
But for those that DIY then this ammendment is ideal, unless its tobacco flavours only. Then that will screw over a lot of current vapers, if not the majority.

To me what they are doing isn't that far short of making them medicalised, manufacturers will still have to jump through hoops to put them on the market in 3 years time or whatever they choose. Can anyone explain what the 'emissions' means that is to be written on each 'packet' ??? Watch out an indoor ban is about ?? I know this isn't finalised by any stretch but it still looks like they are out to get ecigs.
