Vamo + X8 problems

Oh I'm not sure I replied correctly to your adapter question. The adapter I have is a 510 ego adapter which has the airflow slots.

Again, it seems to be working OK without the adapter and I'd prefer not to use it as it makes my Vamo+X8 look fugly!  Looks like there's some combination of raising the tank slightly and having the carto screwed in just right that fixes it.

I'll update here if I have any more issues but if you or anyone else has a brainwave, please let me know

Update! I hope I'm not speaking too soon but I think it's user error (no surprise there!) Now I'm pretty sure that the occasional misfire was due to the carto not being 100% tightened on the Vamo threads.
I think when I was creating a gap between the tank and Vamo, I was unscrewing the carto ever so slightly. Although the carto does normally fire when the battery is not fully screwed, I think this may have been the problem as it's been fully tight all day and no misfires so far.

Also lemental it's worth cleaning the inside connector and the connectors on your batteries and chargers with isypropyl alcohol. youd be amazed at the grime you get on them and it can cause misfiring

Funny you should mention that as I was thinking of doing that yesterday. I'll get my IPA out now and give it a clean.
