Just thought I'd update......again!! Now getting good flavour with the X8 and LR boge @ 7.5W. Feels a lot cleaner vape than the CE5 too and the lack of dry hits is a massive bonus!! Only problem is that I can't put the damn thing down!!

Rather than clutter up the forums with a new thread, I thought I'd resurrect this one from last week.
I've been using the same carto for 9 days now and I'm starting to get a burnt taste. Punched a new carto and it's sitting juice happy in its condom.
I've still got about 2ml juice in my tank with the old carto as I refilled this morning. Is it a bad idea to syringe out the 2ml tank juice and use it with the new carto or will the flavour have become impaired?

TBH lemental I'm not sure I tend to replace the cartos when they get a bit wimpy, not burned and I try to vape the tank empty first. The only time a syringe the juice out is if there's quite a lot and I'm getting flooding problems

Thanks Karma. Flavour was dimishing but I was planning on finishing the tank. Also the carto wasn't firing up well (sounded laboured) and the burnt smell became a bit too much.
I ditched the juice and refilled in the end.

A PBusardo tutorial may help you. It's little long, but worth to see:

Thanks again alansi. Just sat down to watch that video and it's very informative.
One problem that I've been having for the last couple of days is when I hit the Vamo button, it doesn't always fire the carto properly. Sometimes I have to press it again before it fires and sometimes I press it and it fires intermittently during the button press. Not sure why it happens but it will happen with a freshly charged or a dying battery. I do have my tank raised a couple of mm raised from the Vamo for airflow and sometimes I can cure it temporarily by undoing the locking screw at the bottom, revolving the tank a touch, then putting the screw back in but then it will happen again after some time. I only punch one hole in the carto if that makes any difference and it was happening towards the end of my last carto and again with my fresh carto.

Are your batteries making a good contact within the Vamo Lemental? As that could be another reason why you're getting intermittent firing.
The Silver Bullet Copper Hotspring can be helpful in the Vamo with some batteries as it's a bit longer than the supplied spring so makes for a better fit.

I think it's a good contact (single 18350 in mini mode). I have the gold spring and have to push the bottom cap on quite firmly when inserting the battery. There's no rattle whatsoever when it's fitted. I'd say it happens about one in every fifteen to twenty times I hit the button.

Ok . . . do you have a 510 to 510 adapter that you could use with your Tank and Vamo Lemental to see if by not having it fully screwed down for the airflow, that's causing the firing problem.
What's it like using something else other than the tank?

Thanks. Yes I do. I've fully screwed the adapter onto the Vamo and fully screwed the Tank onto the adapter. Seems to be firing very well.
My train of thought has gone now. What does this mean?!! This wasn't happening for the first week of using the Vamo with the X8 without an adapter.
-edit- not tried anything other than the tank for the last week.

My brain has gone for the night Lemental so I'll have to ponder on that . . . glad that it seems to be working ok for you now though.

LOL I've taken the adapter back off and seems to be firing ok for the moment. Not too sure but I think it has something to do with airflow.
