Passthrough with nice button.

Very simple, very effective, three metre cable !
The button works a treat too, hardly needs any pressure.
Just need to cover the button with plastic film to make if fluid proof since the sides have some microns of gap.

Also before being asked I will be making some soon.

Still have that to work out once I buy some boxes for them - I bought a few boxes singly for testing out stuff but they are much cheaper bought in multiples.
Rest assured I am going to get them done as soon as I can but hopefully they will be around the fiver mark.

No battery, direct 5V pass through from USB so you need a decent powered hub or mains adapter that can handle the current.

Next time I build one I will probably do a video of the switch since switches are such a pain in modding.
