Hi,
been vaping for about 6 weeks now and am beginning to really embrace it now, and the kit is building up nicely but.......
reqlly want to get Vamo and nove tank setup, as am quite a heavy vapor....although the diet going well....
suppose what I am after is either a complete kit with everything I need included or a break down of exactly what parts to order, also looked for an instruction video without much luck....
Thanks again to everyone for all your help, advise and support :-)
cheers
tom

......and an atomiser....and some nice juice. Oh and a wooden stand for it, a stand for all your atomisers and batteries, an organiser for the juices, a tool box to hold spares and small tools, some cotton buds, roll of kitchen paper, and not last but not least a vaping cap and T_shirt so you can really enjoy the moment of vaping your new Vamo. Then you will need som stick on wraps to decorate it, and if this dioes not suit some metal polish to remove the chrome....etc etc etc.
As Romelee says just a few things as he listed. Once you have the batteries and charger the pain of buying is not there for future mods.

I've been looking into buying a Vamo also, and have been torn between ordering from abroad, or keeping it in the UK... Pros of ordering from abroad;cheaper short-term Cons of ordering abroad;- Knock offs - Could last five minutes or five years... If it does go t!ts up, you then start the long process of emails and messages... - If an issue arises, you can't just pick up the phone.. - Cost of returning items can be prohibitive should an issue arise (assuming seller won't cover return postage?) - Possibility of having to pay custom charges to receive your items (i've not yet heard of anyone personally having issues, but that's not to say it hasn't happened?) - Having to wait for two weeks plus for your items to arrive (most of the time you will have no idea where your parcel is!) Total cost: This is what makes most people's minds up, and it's easy to see why!! Vamo Stainless Steel 2 x 18650 Panasonic NCR 3400mah batteries Nitecore i2 charger 2 x Vivi Nova Clearos Fasttech - £58 UK Vendor/Ebay - £92 Now, I hear you say, that £38 is quite a difference... My response is simple.. can you put a cost on good customer service with a quick turn around should the worst happen?? Here's an example of why I would happily pay more to a well respected UK vendor... I recently ordered a well known clearomiser.. It arrived and leaked like a sieve through the base!! Quick phone call and I had a replacement on my doorstep the next morning... Now lets say I ordered that same clearo from one of these overseas companies.. I'd be looking to wait at least a week (if not longer) for a replacement!! So instead of enjoying a nice vape with it, I'd be postie watching!! You also need to ask yourself if the items being sent are of the SAME quality as what you'd get from here in the UK? www.torchythebatteryboy.com/p/18650-batteries-chargers.htmlQUOTE What wasn't expected was under the wrapper of Ultrafire 3000mAh, 3600mAh and 4000mAH a shiny new cap has been fitted. When this is removed, it is clear that they are reclaimed laptop batteries. The spot welds of the tabs can be seen on the base and positive terminal. What stops them doing the same with so called Panasonic batteries? Convinced? I am!!

Batteries.......................I have bought 10 Panasonic Batteries, all pristine, all brand new and all genuine.
Vamo............................all come from one source in China
We had a few dodgy Novas, but they were in fact fixable. They were less than half price of Vision Novas. I got an immediate refund, or credit. My choice and I got the novas for free, got them fixed and had some spare heads.
Nitecore........................I have one from Fasttech, it is genuine
The QUOTE........................scare mongering, full stop. That has never happened with Fasttech, they are clearly brand spanking new, and who in their right minds buys Ultrafire or any other "fire" batteries?
Customs..................................never happened in about 20 deliveries from china from various suppliers.
Customer Service?........................Fasttech and Zainy to name two are firstclass, Vaporbreak were not at one time but have made massive strides in the right direction.
You cannot assume that you will get any better customer service from a UK vender. You cant simply assume that anyone not in the UK is trying to rip you off.
I`m not saying another word on this. We have been here before.

You cannot assume that you will get any better customer service from a UK vender. You cant simply assume that anyone not in the UK is trying to rip you off. I`m not saying another word on this. We have been here before. I'm not making any assumptions Robby.. I'm just giving my opinion.. I thought that was the point of an open forum?? Batteries.. My point is they may have the right shrink wrap but unless you actually compare them like for like on a scope how can you state 100% that they are indeed genuine?? Doesn't take a lot to get a cell of the same exterior size and "re-package" it... I know enough about that from when I use to race 1/10 RC cars nationally... I wouldn't buy them, but people obviously do otherwise they wouldn't be on the open market... So what about the difference is size? and the screen looking tinted and not being as clear? One source should mean exactly the same inside and out... Not as if they're handmade?... So the Novas were repairable, and luckily it turned out that you ended up with not only a working product but also a refund.. I'd personally like to not have to bugger about with something to get it to work!! One offs, fair enough... Not the majority though!! As I said, it COULD happen, and then you've waited two weeks to pay around the same price as you would have paid from a UK vendor? They may well be excellent when it comes to their aftersales, but what if the product isn't fixable? You either take a refund and buy it elsewhere, or wait for a replacement.. Another 2 weeks wait!! I havn't said that a non-UK vendor is ripping anyone off.. They are saving some shoppers lots of money!! Again, I'm just passing on my opinion.. I've had things delivered from China that are spot on for quality, but when it comes to spending £XX on something electrical that has the possibility to go wrong, I'd rather pay the extra and know that any problems (replacements, etc) can be resolved within 2-3 days as opposed to 2-3 weeks...
I mean no offence to you Robby, or indeed any company that sells their wares from overseas! I'm very sceptical when it comes to spending my hard earned.. Always look at the worst case scenario. That way I can't be surprised when something doesn't work out as I'd hoped...

We are all very careful about spending our money mate. We just have different ways about going about it. I dont have time to answer all your points, but it`s all about saving money, if you have it to spare then go ahead and just buy in the UK. I dont. I wouldnt have nowhere near as stuff as I have now if I bought it in the UK as would be the case for a lot of other forum members. All sorts of things "could happen" there have been plenty of stories about UK venders not playing fair .
Just seen this "Batteries.. So they have the right shrink wrap... unless you actually compare them like for like on a scope how can you tell that they are genuine?? Doesn't take a lot to get a cell of the same exterior size and "re-package" it..."
that is just total bollox mate, sorry. I know how long they last and I know a genuine Panasonic battery when I see it brand new and in totally pristine condition. Got a ferry to catch.
