Being flat top they may not fit.. Forgive me Mev . . . but why would you buy a lovely, not inexpensive device even second hand and not buy the correct batteries in the first instance for it. It's like spoiling the ship for a ha'penny worth of tar. I don't understand. ??? I wouldn't use AW batteries, they are not very good compared to a few others. Not saying the Sanyo will even fit the Provari, I had already ordered those last night but they are far better than AW's as are a lot of other batteries out there. It's very strange that Provape insist on customers using AW's and i'm not sure how they can insist it tbh. I can understand if they know they work and fit well and trying to stop customers using ones maybe too large and put extra strain etc on the mod, but it's silly to think you can't use a superior battery that fits just as well but out performs an AW.. I will always weight things up and make my own mind up whatever provape say. Edit to add... another reason I wouldn't buy AW batts is vendors over price them because they know most provari users will buy them.

Those Sanyo batteries are superior compared to AW's. When Provari came about AW'2 were one the best and I suppose that's why they said they must be used for warranty purposes but now there are better batteries about. Its a shame Provari doesn't move on with the times like batteries have done. They may be superior Si, but they don't actually work without modification. Which is fine if you're prepared to do that, I'd rather buy the correct recommended batteries from the outset. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh stupid me. I thought you were referring to him using Sanyos in it, I didn't think about the flat top bit

But I can tell you for fact, that no flat top batteries will fit the Provari no matter how better the specification is over AW's unless you have the knowledge to adapt them. Efests also work and are less costly . . . .

Yeah I had already ordered those Sanyo's before buying a Provari, not saying they will fit it. I will try them though It was the reason I started the other thread asking about batts.

LoL...
I did buy them as I'm making a telescopic section for my vamo to use all three sizes. Still deciding which batts to use in the Prov.
