Problems with site

Hi all
Is anybody else having problems with the site?

everything goes blank on my screen avatars and menu bar
they are white and have a red x in them and you cant click and go to them
im also getting a message that the pro board is full and keep getting kicked out?

Seriously though none of those problems but it is being very slow today.

ive had mostly yesterday and a few hours today
restarted pc twice today all seem ok touch wood

River, out of interest what browser are you using? Oh & did you try clearing your cache/cookies etc & if so did that make any difference?

No problems here, River. It's running smooth and fast for me.

Your browser is what you open up to go surfing, and type in the www addresses I expect you use Internet Explorer if you've never downloaded and installed another one. The common ones are:

Firefox
Opera
Chrome
Safari
etc

I use Chrome for All About and often get the "Aw Snap!" screen telling me it can't load the page

Earlier on i had a page load up saying we are backing up the data on the page from proboards team so might of been that mate?

I am IE - now 9 - wish I hadn't! > But, of interest, I had numerous problems yesterday with all kinds of sites, not just this one. I had the same blank bits/slow loading on ebay as well as a couple of shopping sites.

That said, I have no idea who/what to blame. I usually balme myself! :-[

I had problems yesterday. Chrome kept telling me that the website wasn't answering or no response from the servers or some rubbish like that. As you can all tell I am sooooooo technically literate it's untrue lol

No problems today though.

On my last lappy, I did have Firefox and IE. However, I also managed to download nasties - which caused all kinds of havoc - largely 'cos I hadn't clue what I was doing. This new lappy came with IE and has worked really well - more or less. I made a promise to it not to download anything - just in case I had more unwelcome visitors etc. However, last week, I got a 'you need to update to IE9' message from Dell/Microsoft - so like a twaddle, assumed I had to - so I did. :-[

I'm going to wait until my son comes down in August to get him to 'safely' load up FF for me.

So Scylla - sweetheart, it isn't me being defiant, honist. I trust you and your advice completely and utterly - but, I get confoooosed and make a mess of things so eeeeasily when it comes to pooters. :-[
