I met TWO vapers today, (I know, it's going viral....) both using the Joyetech "tank" system. I would appear that a local shop is expanding into towns across the county. I've been looking at these, and the words "revolutionary" and "changed the face of vaping overnight" seem a little overly optimistic. Anyhow, £59.00 kits (for 2 650 batteries) and another that was £69.99 for 2 batteries and just two atomizer heads, seems, um, expensive? Pretty sure all this stuff is Joyetech and 99% sure these B&M stores are Totally Wicked. £70 for two batteries, a charger and 2 attys+carts? Is that it? Now, before I get all ranty (is that a word?) are these systems good? Should I try and convince these folk that a 1ml "tank" is a bit small compared to a clearo? Anyway, one chap mentioned his wife was running out of batteries, so she popped into one store (after work or something) and bought an extra full kit. £45 for this 1x Atomizer cone 2x Atomizer head? 1x Battery housing? 2x 360mAh rechargeable batteries 3x Tank cartridges Surely, it's all way to costly....but am I missing something here? Anyway, I gave them the AAEC low-down....and promised to post a V3 and Evod to one chap. He smoked 50 a day and finds the 1ml tanks a little frustrating. (No s*** Sherlock) I just showed him my Spinner and Evod with Swedish Fish @ 4.0v.

It's helping them stay off of the fags right? I paid Twenty quid for a cig alike and five carto's that lasted me three days then I found 5 carto's for six quid and I thought - ding dong, I've been had off, but at least I've got a cheaper supply I think at this point a fair few would go back on the fags because cig a likes are pretty crap right? I suppose at least they've got as far as tanks, which was the same as my own next step, and hopefully a combination of them getting miffed with 360's that last a morning and the sheer expense of shopping on the high street coupled with your link to here will have them at least on clearos and bigger ego's at a third of the price on line. I thought, well? compared to fags my two biansi tanks n ego's @ £55 the pair was cheap! And it was too, but another six weeks later of corse I know better, but then I'm almost 600 quid in now, so who's kidding who? Kudos to you for posting him some kit, you possibly added 10 years to his days, fair play to ya

It's helping them stay off of the fags right? Yes, but I can sense the one guy is struggling a bit. Then again, you are right. I spent £14.50 a week on rolling tobacco. He must have been spending that between waking up and going to bed in a day, so he's doing fantastic i.m.o.

Ego T Tanks were really quite revolutionary when they first came out, we were all falling over ourselves to buy them. Now they're a bit old hat with the newer superior devices we have. My experience of them wasn't actually too bad. Still available now, at far lower prices than has been paid by the Vapers you met today Djs . . . but if you haven't found a forum or had guidance from a more savvy Vaper, it probably doesn't seem such a price if it's keeping you off the ciggies as Sleepy says. I'm sure your help will educate them though.

I've got a set of them for sale on the classies for the wifes Uncle. They did everything he wanted them to so not all bad. If you don't want to faff about with rewicking and cleaning tanks then they are ok as a disposable unit.....and a lot smaller than a Provari or Vamo for example.

I really enjoyed my tanks, especially cos i could change juice three times on a night! Nowadays I've got clearo's all over the place and a load of wicks drying on kitchen roll on the window sill, but haven't we all ? God help me when the stainless steel gets unwrapped.
DJS, I've 5 tanks and ego ato's that I bought on the cusp of finding something better, all unused and brand spanking new, me and mrs poochops wont use them so, if you think you can find a home for them then pm me and I'll send them to you to give over to someone who can make better use. I'll send a re-wicked clearo as well, so then if you can convince said person(s) to get ordering online? Then maybe there's another folk off the fags! Which would be fab!

One of my workmates had the Ego t tanks, she got a burnt taste quite a lot, got fed up filling them up, generally not happy with them. I let her try my iclear 16, she was impressed and the same day ordered 5 of them. That kit though, £45 very expensive, you can get stuff off the net far cheaper than that, they just need pointing in the right direction . It seems to be the norm for market stalls and B&M shops to sell at 2 or 3 times more than the net, i saw a basic kit blister pack of an ego batt/clearo/charger the other week in a newsagents for £24.99 what a flipping rip off.

UPDATE. I went to the B&M totally wicked store to see the chap and the gear and to be honest, I was quite impressed. OK, so things are a little pricey, but not in the inexplicable range and he had some nice gadgets. Novas for £11.99 is hardly daylight robbery, I'd be happy to pay £2 more on a £10 accessory....sure... I looked at two things and though better of it (not price-wise, but as I didn't really know the product.....). He showed me a nice set up (Vape Pro with a posh RCS clearo) and seemed genuinely friendly. I expected to see some more shinies on display, but it was quite dull really. Maybe these things take time. Lots of e-liquid. Some at £7.99 which, I don't know, is alright once or twice or if you find a great flavour. Overall, excellent. I shall return. - - - Rather ironically, I had to ask in the E-Lites shop where the TW shop was! My family had to restrain me from kicking off in there you know. There was a clearly retired and not well off lady complaining that one carto only lasted a morning. I tried to find her in the market afterwards, but no luck.

Thanks....also interesting. I found some terrible reviews for the t-tank system on the internet. Apparently there was even a facebook "fail" page for this kit. I think it's typical Joyetech t.b.h. to keep flogging this system to death.
