Ian I was tempted by the V2 but I'm trying to be good. I really want an Apex Ultra so need to start the saving fund for that :-)

I suggest anyone who has a faulty mod should send it back and ask for a replacement or refund, so the people who make them get the message that more care needs to be taken in their manufacture... I think they're sending them out with little or no quality control, and lets face it, £40 or whatever might not be a lot of money when compared to over £100 for a GG for instance, but if they're breaking after very little use, then that's a lot of money to just throw away

I agree Lilac. I've had to return items a couple of times (I've been lucky) and have had no problems doing so. As the UK consumer rules state, I received a refund or replacement depending upon how long I'd been using the item including, of course, my return postage. I would certainly contact any UK vendor and ask, politely of course, for a replacement or full refund of any 'mod' that proves unfit for the purpose - I value my nose and teeth too much to risk fiddling with anything dodgy that sits near my face! Any reputable vendor will keep his/her customers happy as we are becoming more litigious these days and a visit by Trading Standards would be most unwelcome - they are pretty hot on all things e-cig presently. I agree 100% Lilac, thats myself and two others who have had similar problems to me.Its not good enough and i have PMd Camperman about sorting it out for me.I noticed River got an exchange on his faulty mod, so me and Lisa should be entitled to one to.I have never known a mod that dies so quickly, or a big battery mod that shorts using an LR atty.Whoever makes these EXO18650s should also be made aware that they are selling faulty items that are not fit for purpose >

Im sure he will lisa tbh as he aint a bad supplier.Tbh another supplier who i dont blame is James as hes stopped selling his ecigs and i dont blame him as it must be a right nightmare.
Im one of these people tho if it dont work i just leave it unless its something big i dont like hassling suppliers as it must make them feel like utter c**p

Fox OMG, I don't believe the coincidense - was just reading your post Foxy, while vaping on the MM - not used it much so thought I'd give it another try. The on button jammed & I couldn't switch it off The attie got red hot - tried to remove it by using a cloth so I didn't burn my fingers & the whole of the attie connector came unstuck from the body of the MM Think I'm going to stick with my GG's from now on as they have so many safety issues built in.
