Hi, has anyone got a Janty Stick V3 and id so whats it like? I have a Riva 510 and the batteries are dead so I'm thinking of moving on to something else. I have 510 attys and usb leads etc so think I only nead the body and not the extras. Does this vape at above 3.7v and how good is the battery? I don't want to keep changing it throughout the day.
Any views or evenrecomendations would be welcome.
Thanks

it takes a 10440, and, frankly, is a heap of festering dingo kidneys. There are much better devices to spend your money on.

So you don't rate it then Hifi? Also Tyne you should look for something that takes a 'big' battery that will last you all day. For the same price as the Janty you could get a GGTB. All mechanical so very little to go wrong and it takes loads of different batteries. I'm not harping on about GG's, what you go for is your choice. I'm just recommending this sort of set up as an example.

Thanks, it looks like the JS is off my list now, what do you guys think about the multi mod or the BW510N.
There seems to be a good selection now I'm getting advice.
Thanks

The 510n is a great mod. Batteries last ages and I think the new one that Camper has fits clearo's or something that didn't work on the last one. I'll have to check. Mine has never let me down and the only thing I don't like about it is the plastic button as it ruins the quality look of the unit. The new ones have a metal button.
Don't know anything about the multi mod other than I've heard a lot of people praising it.

I've got the MM from Graeme (thescot) with XL clearos and it's working great - it must surely be 5v and the battery lasts ages. However: (1) When the battery does eventually die (ie, refuse to charge any more) it would take a knowledgable tinkerer to replace it or you'd have to buy a whole new MM. (2) Graeme was expecting to sell the next stock of MMs for £50 - BUT... (3) Don't take my word for it, but I didn't think that Graeme was doing them any more ??? I need to update myself I had the Janty Stick V1 but returned it for refund after a replacement also failed, there were manufacturing faults. I gather that V2 was a great improvement. Janty are a good company, IMO, and at the time the design was innovative, and it also worked as a passthru IIRC. scylla

Scylla, the MM isn't 5v - it has a 18650 3.7v battery inside it

Scylla, the MM isn't 5v - it has a 18650 3.7v battery inside it I saw that Chrissie but I'm told that its a better vape than the riva and it can also be used as a PT so that would save me about £17.00. I don't think my finances will stretch to a 5v just now nd what Ive heard is the MM is reliable and the battery lasts ages.

My BW510N mod died on me, this is the model with the plastic switch. It would not run dual coil cartos or anything LR. Having spoken to camperman the new model will run the dual coil's.
The multimod is great, I had a problem with the first one I had as the charge connector broke but the scot was great as sorted me out a new one.

I've got the Multi-Mod Tyne & I would say it it gives a slightly better vape than the Riva. I find it a tad awkward to vape it as a PT because the USB plug is sort of in the way of the button. And though 18650 batteries will take many recharges, when the one inside the MM eventually dies, you can't just easily take it out & replace as you can do with other mods. On the good side though, it does fit comfortably in the hand

Sorry, I didn't mean that the MM is a 5v but that it vapes like it I've said myself Chrissie that it's awkward as a PT because of the closeness of the micro-USB to the button, so I'm glad you've confirmed it I also agree it's quite comfy, and although the button is small and hard it takes such a very slight press to activate it that it doesn't hurt at all. scylla

Oh no Lisa, just like my EXO 18650 mod. These mods are poor quality and an LR atty shorted mine to > What an absolute waste of money, these mods are certainly inferior quality and should be discontinued IMHO.

You talking about Igetcha Scott who does the video reviews of loads of e-cigs, Tyny? Or thescot (Graeme)who supplied the MM? If it's him, he doesn't have a website but you can PM him by clicking on his ID and selecting Send Personal Message which is written more-or-less across the top of his info page. Sorry if I've got the wrong end of the stick scylla
