I agree. I've recently purchased 2 mods from different people. And one day both failed. I contacted both the mod makers and the response could not have been further apart in terms of service. One extensively talked me through a few processes and then asked for me to return it. The other did not really want to know about my problems tried a few suggestions and that seems to be it. The one I actually send back was returned with a free atomiser. And guess what. It was user error on my part :-[ But I got a lengthy explanation as to what was causing the fault and even though it was my batteries he sent a free atomiser to cover the postage. Totally different service from both. I went back to the 2nd who said yeah I though it might be the batteries. But I got no real help.
Guess who I would buy from again.
No I must point out that the guys I bought from are not vendors but modders. I guess this is where some earn the reputation.

All modders i have bought from i have had 100% great service and aftercare service has been second to none.I just got my multimod V2 from thescot, five days from Thailand to my door and its an amazing mod, brilliant. It does however appear that a few new vendors dont give a damn and just want to make a buck without taking responsibility for problems when faulty goods go wrong > Its not good enough and i was also told try this, try that when the answer should have been, send it me back please and do you want a refund or exchange? I wont put up with this lack of respect and being treated like a mug which im sure everyone else will agree with me on.If you pay good money for a mod you expect it to last longer than a few weeks >

the whole of the attie connector came unstuck from the body of the MM BTW, on my version the atty connecter - a 1cm extension - is not fixed/glued, it is a screw-on/off piece like an adapter. This was a modification to the original. scylla

Mine appears to be just glued in Scylla. I've pushed the connector back in place, but can't use it as the button is still stuck in the on position

Good Grief chrissie! I do hope my post wasn't the cause of your MM mishap. I shall definitely stick to the models with a good track record; the Bauway 510 eGo clone with the red hot atty problem was quite enough for me!!! Fox

the Bauway 510 eGo clone with the red hot atty problem was quite enough for me!!! That was the one James was unfortunate enough to choose for his Slim Jym, mine performed the same as yours As I said, Bauway is a no-no for me ever again. scylla

They usually do "clones" but with slightly different styling from what they're copying. Their Tornegoriva all silver Slim Jym was the first I came across. It's typical that sellers like James and Camper would buy them because they want to be able to supply the same specs at a cheaper price than the competition but still make a little profit, and the BW looks such a good deal. I don't expect that Camper knew anything about James's experience otherwise he'd not have gone for them. Now we know So it's a question of checking out the origin and/or model numbers to filter out BW. scylla
